The Association des médecins d urgence du Québec (AMUQ), in collaboration with the Association des spécialistes en médecine d urgence du Québec (ASMUQ), are inviting you to contribute to the success of the 35 e Congrès scientifique de médecine d urgence (35 th Scientific Congress in Emergency Medicine), which will be held October 22 nd to 25 th, 2018, at the Château Frontenac, in Québec City. 1 Becoming a partner by allocating funds aimed at medical education, or 2 Reserving a space in our Exhibition Hall to promote your products or services to our participants. To maximise the visits to the Exhibition Hall and the contacts with our participants, we added two features that will generate curiosity: A wheel of fortune next to the entrance of the Exhibition Hall will encourage the participant to visit, at random, your booths; This year, we are offering you two options: Trusted for the past 35 years for the quality of its organization and scientific content, the Congrès scientifique de médecine d urgence attracts more than 500 emergency physicians, mostly from Québec, but also other Canadian provinces. According to our participants, the diversity and the relevance of the proposed topics make this congress a high quality event. Year after year, we actively aim to please you by trying to innovate with our partnership program while staying attentive to your needs. Access to the Exhibition Hall for two (2) representatives 3. Breakfasts and coffee-breaks for two (2) representatives. VISIBILITY One (1) 6 wide x 5 deep booth including: One (1) draped table 4, Two (2) chairs, One (1) wastepaper basket, Lighting, One (1) electrical outlet, One (1) ID poster, One Internet access; A wheel of fortune will be installed next to the entrance of the Exhibition Hall. When the wheel is spinned, a host will encourage the participant to visit the selected exhibitor. We invite you to prepare three (3) to five (5) questions about your business to awake the participants curiosity. The identification numbers of the exhibitors will be showed on the wheel of fortune 6. OPTIONAL $300 + TAXES ($344.93 with taxes) One (1) three (3) minute interview by a professionsl host who will ask your reprensetatives about your products and services. This interview will be broadcasted live in the Exhibition Hall speakers during the coffee breaks and the lunches. 3 Lunches (buffet-style) on October 24 th and 25 th for two (2) representatives. portant The Exhibition Hall will be open October 24 th and 25 th, 2018. It is important to inform your representatives that the exhibition lasts for two (2) days. A list of the participants who allow the transmission of their names will be given on request to each representative. Representatives will be allowed to go to some conferences of their choice, as an observer only, if the conference room is not filled. The congress participants will get priority for the seating. No contest will be allowed in the Exhibition Hall. 5 1 The Code d éthique du Conseil québécois de développeemnt professionel continu des médecins aims that no organizer, resource-person, or participant to a medical education activity are faced with a real or potential conflict of interests. The Code aims also to avoid any involvments from a granting organization in the scentific content or the messages of the medical education activity. Therefore, adherance to the Code limits the kind of gratitude that can be offered in return of funding. 3 Upon arrival, you will receive two (2) identification badges showing only the name of your company. Your representatives will have to share these two (2) badges. No other badge will be given to you if you forget or lose it. 4 It is possible to change the draped table by one (1) counter and two (2) stools for an additional $50 + taxes ($57.49 with taxes). 5 The information received after September 1 st will not be included in the special issue of L Urgentiste. 6 Each exhibitor must understand that the participants are not, in any case, compelled to visit them even after spinning the wheel of fortune. 2 Non-profit organizations (NPOs) that want to participate as exhibitors at the congress may book a table for $999 + taxes ($1,148.60 with taxes).
