Reporting to the Commercial and Partnership Manager, the Industry Partnership Executive will be responsible for engaging, maintaining and supporting our partnerships in the marketing of the city, to coincide with Visit Belfast s aims and objectives to drive visitor numbers and spend for the city and region. Job Description POSITION: DEPARTMENT: REPORTING TO: Industry Partnership Executive (Temporary, full time 6 month post) Marketing and Communications Commercial and Partnership Manager SALARY SCALE: 20,225-26,390 PURPOSE: Reporting to the Commercial and Partnership Manager, you will be responsible for engaging, maintaining and supporting our partnerships in the marketing of the city, to coincide with Visit Belfast s aims and objectives to drive visitor numbers and spend for the city and region. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Support and coordinate a robust partnership approach, to embrace strategic partners, corporate partners and a tiered level of partnership engagement that relates to benefits and costs. 2. Represent Visit Belfast, as required, by attending partner launches / FAM visits and other stakeholder workshops/events and meetings. 3. Assist in the renewal and servicing of existing partnerships and in the recruitment of new partners from initial enquiry, to proactive sales research to meetings/presentations and processing all new potential leads. 4. Support and assist in the organisation of Visit Belfast partner events and networking occasions to develop relationships with partners and industry stakeholders. 5. Recording, monitoring and reviewing, along with the Commercial & Partnership Manager, partnership performance on a regular basis, implementing remedial action plans where required and reporting on progress against sales targets. 6. Monitor industry partner satisfaction levels with Visit Belfast, undertaking regular client reviews and meetings and putting in place any remedial action to meet partner needs. 7. Conduct proactive activity of sales research to identify potential new Visit Belfast partners, developing and executing sales acquisition plans for these clients. 8. Support partnership enquiries, sales, marketing, financial and service processes and procedures effectively. 4
OTHER: 9. Resolve partner queries and complaints efficiently and effectively as well as identifying common issues and recommending solutions and changes to improve the partnership service. 10. Monitor and evaluate partnership cancellations to assist with future product and service development. 11. Maintain a detailed and accurate database/crm system in accordance with GDPR and Visit Belfast procedures. 12. Support partnership contact management strategies and engagement through liaising with all Visit Belfast departments in relation to partnership communications, sales and marketing activity. 13. Contribute to the development/updating of Visit Belfast websites and digital marketing in relation to partnership. 14. Update and maintain all partnership records and entries including for print and digital publications, digital applications, and websites to ensure they are accurate and correct. 15. Contribute to the development of marketing collateral including information packs and presentations. 16. Contributing, as appropriate, to partnership communications from developing content, coordinating mail chimp processing and managing partnership contact lists. 17. Support, develop and contribute to the achievement of partnership income revenue targets. 18. Undertake other duties as required. 1. This role requires regular out of hours working engaging effectively with the bar, restaurant and wider hospitality sector, as well as representing Visit Belfast at evening/weekend industry events. 2. Self-starter, energy, drive, enthusiasm and team player. Available to work outside normal hours as necessary. Available to attend industry events, business social events and client meetings which may be out of hours. This role may require some travel throughout Northern Ireland, UK and Europe. Level 3 qualification, in a relevant discipline such as marketing, tourism/hospitality or business studies. 3 years sales / account experience. Knowledge of Belfast as a tourism destination.
