Day One In Transit Depart your gateway city for Berlin, Germany.A Day Two D Berlin, Germany Upon arrival, transfera to the Hilton Berlin. This evening, meet and mingle with your fellow travelers during a Welcome Reception and Dinner. Day Three B D Berlin Enrichment: A Tale of Two Cities East Berlin and West Berlin. Once divided, Berlin was reunited in 1989 after the infamous Berlin Wall was torn down. Learn more about the lasting impact in its two former sectors. Discovery: Berlin City Tour. With a guide, see Berlin s top sites, including the Brandenburg Gate, Pariser Platz, the Federal Chancellery, the elegant Unter den Linden boulevard and more. Then glide along the Spree River on a canal boat and admire impressive landmarks, including the Reichstag, Berliner Dom and Museum Island. Disembark in Tiergarten Park, Berlin s lively public green space. Free Time: Explore Berlin at your leisure. Later this afternoon, board the first-class MS Elbe Princesse to begin your Elbe River journey. Tonight onboard, gather for a Welcome cocktail hour, followed by a Welcome Dinner. Day Four Potsdam Discovery: Potsdam. Stroll through the lovely, terraced Sanssouci gardens, planned by Frederick the Great in 1743 for his summer retreat, and visit Cecilienhof Palace, the Tudor-style country manor where the 1945 Potsdam Conference was held. Old Town, Dresden Day Five Magdeburg As the ship sails today, delight in the quaint scenery along this tranquil, narrow waterway. Enrichment: Contemporary Germany. Gain insights about life in a unified Germany today. Discovery: Magdeburg. On a guided tour, explore one of Germany s oldest cities, and step inside the country s first Gothic cathedral. Day Six Wittenberg PYC Choose one of these excursions: Wittenberg is a university town with a close connection to Martin Luther, who sparked a momentous religious reformation. Today, each excursion includes a guided visit to the town. Stop at the Castle Church to see the church door area where Luther nailed his 95 Theses. Continue for a visit to the City Church, where he regularly preached. Wittenberg and Martin Luther. After visiting the town, walk through the university where Luther taught and visit his former home, now a museum chronicling the Reformation movement. Wittenberg and Brewery Tour. After visiting the town, head to the Brauhaus brewery for a tour and beer tasting. (Active Three floors and many stairs) Elbe Cycle Route, Meissen Return to the ship and continue cruising. Day Seven Meissen Dresden PYC Choose one of these excursions: Meissen Porcelain. See the craftsmanship behind the town s renowned white porcelain during a tour of the factory, founded in 1710. Meissen Bike Tour Along the Elbe. Pedal on the Elbe Cycle Route, voted the top favorite by the German Cycling Federation. (Active) After the morning excursions, return to the Elbe Princesse for lunch and cruise to Dresden. PYC Choose one of these excursions: Dresden City Tour. On a panoramic tour, see the three stately castles near the Elbe; the Blue Wonder steel bridge from 1893; and the fashionable Koenigstrasse. Then with a guide,

Berliner Dom, Spree River, Berlin walk to view the Zwinger, a complex of baroque buildings set amid grand pavilions, fountains and sculptures; the Royal Castle; and the Dresden Cathedral. Witness the Church of Our Lady, built in 1743 and ravaged by World War II bombings, now lovingly restored. Later, study the wonderful art collection of the Old Master s Gallery. Dresden Old Town Culinary Tour. Enjoy an engaging walk through the city s beautiful old town area as your guide provides fascinating insights about its architecture and history. Along your route, taste delectable Saxon specialties that honor the region s traditions. Day Eight Bad Schandau Saxon Alps Today, the ship enters the picturesque Saxon Alps region, dotted with forested riverbanks, green meadows, red-roofed houses and the towering, rocky Elbe Sandstone peaks. Discovery: Saxon Alps. Head into the Elbe Sandstone mountains and marvel at the craggy, unusually shaped formations created by water erosion millions of years ago. Gaze across this unique landscape from the Königstein Fortress, and stop at the imposing Bastei formation. Revel in the breathtaking views as the Elbe Princesse continues through the Saxon Alps. Day Nine Litomerice, Czech Republic Discovery: Litomerice. Wander through this enchanting city, filled with colorful Gothic, Renaissance and baroque buildings. Litomerice From your deck chair, savor the unfolding vistas of life along the riverbanks en route to Prague. Day Ten Prague This morning, travel by motor coach to Prague. Discovery: Old Town Prague. On a guided walk, discover the city s splendid Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and baroque buildings that span eight centuries. See the Old Town Square, the Church of Our Lady before Tyn and Prague s ornate medieval astronomical clock. Cross the acclaimed Charles Bridge, lined with 30 statues. Free Time: Enjoy time in Prague on your own. Enrichment: Velvet Revolution. Learn how this pivotal movement in 1989 freed the former Czechoslovakia from communist control. Tonight, as your cruise concludes, celebrate your Elbe River journey at a festive Farewell Reception and Dinner.

Cathedral, Magdeburg Charles Bridge, Prague Brewery Tour Day Eleven B Prague After breakfast, disembark the Elbe Princesse. PYC Choose one of these excursions: Prague Castle. This sprawling castle has been the seat of Czech rulers since the ninth century. See the Castle Square, the Chapel of the Holy Cross, the Picture Gallery and the old Royal Palace. Explore St. Vitus Cathedral and stroll Golden Lane, lined with charming, 16th-century homes once occupied by the castle s staff. Prague s Historic Jewish Quarter. Meander through the original narrow lanes and see the Old New Synagogue, Europe s oldest active synagogue. Then tour the Prague National Jewish Museum, comprised of four synagogues, a ceremonial hall and the Old Jewish Cemetery. Walk among the more than 12,000 jumbled tombstones wedged inside its boundaries. This afternoon, check in to the Art Deco Imperial Hotel in the heart of Prague.
