ITINERARY DAY 1 TRAVEL TO MIAMI Board our group flight to Miami, Florida. Meet your Evolve Tour Director upon arrival. Transfer by private coach to drop off our luggage at the hotel. Tour the University of Miami Frost School of Music. Enjoy the opportunity to to attend music forums and meet the esteemed students and faculty. After the tour, enjoy a music lesson workshop from one of the faculty members. Evening Enjoy free time to explore South Beach DAY 2 EXPLORE MIAMI Tour the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, an arts complex hosting the Florida Grand Opera & Miami City Ballet, plus many other special events. Enjoy insider information about the Arsht s architecture, history and the many stars who have graced its stages, as well as much more. Afterwards, have the opportunity to put on a musical performance at the Center. Head to Wynwood to explore the design district s gallery scene. The Wynwood Arts District is the epicenter of the arts in Greater Miami. It is home to over 50 art galleries, 4 museums and major collections, and much more. Street performance opportunity. Evening Enjoy a live musical performance at a local venue this evening DAY 3 FINAL DAY MIAMI Enjoy a specially organized tour of Creative Artists Agency. Learn about the behind-the-scenes of the industry on our private tour of their Miami operation, pending availability Participate in an Afro-Cuban dance workshop, including Orisha, Guaguanco, Salsa, Stretching, Timba, Cuban styling and shines, Cha-cha-cha and more. Evening Enjoy dinner at Larios on the Beach, Gloria and Emilio Estefan s Award-Winning Cuban Restaurant. Return to hotel to prepare for travel day tomorrow. DAY 4 TRANSFER TO CUBA Transfer to the airport. Board our group flight for Havana, Cuba. Enjoy a tour Old Havana (Havana Vieja), focusing on the history, culture and arts of Cuba. Climb to the roof to experience the incredible Camera Obscura, a view of all of Havana reflected upside-down in real time. From there, we ll make our way to the Plaza de la Catedral, one of the five main squares in Havana Vieja. Visit Taller Experimental de Grafica. This unique art gallery and artist cooperative showcases local artists works. Browse the pieces on display and see artists creating their next masterpieces. Evening Enjoy live Cuban music with dinner this evening. At night, witness the famous Cañonazo de las 9, a cannon shoot that happens every night at 9 pm. This custom dates back to Colonial Times, when it signaled the closing of the city wall doors. DAY 5 HAVANA, CUBA Participate in an Afro-Cuban Percussion music workshop. Get to know all the instruments that are part of Afro Cuba music. You will learn how to accompany Cuban popular music with maracas, guiros, claves, congas, tumbadoras, and more. Put on a musical performance in a church, public space, or similar venue in Havana. Evening Attend a live musical concert in Havana this evening
DAY 6 FINAL DAY, HOMEWARD BOUND Visit a local market to do some final souvenir shopping and exploration in Havana. Transfer to the airport and begin our journey home, after an amazing trip together.
