Slides and Photographs Series, 1940-1982, 137 Photographs and 1,479 Slides The Slides and Photographs are each arranged differently: photographs are arranged alphabetically by the folder title from which they were removed; the slides are essentially in alphabetical order by the name of the place and then numbered consecutively. Some of the slides have letters assigned with their numbers because they were added at the last minute. This series contains a great number of slides from Garrison s personal travels and his work with the National Park Service. The majority of these slides are of parks, recreation areas, historic sites and monuments. A number of these places pictured have related material in the General File series.
