ISGF World Conference 9 th to 14 th October Bali, Indonesia 280 people from 47 countries, Delegates and Observers Venue big hotel beside beach with excellent conference facilities. Programme was a mix of business and social events Discussion and decisions of a variety of issues including election of new members of World Committee. Bali declaration on Intercultural Dialogue based on conclusions of workshops Presentations on Fellowship activities in different countries

Major Decisions Elected World Committee members reduced from 8 to 6 Triennial report of ISGF presented and accepted Financial reports presented and accepted Fees increased slightly in line with inflation - 2.26 per member. Nepal, Qatar, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and Zambia were accepted as full members Madrid, Spain will be venue for next World conference in 2020
World Committee 3 members had finished their 6 year term and 3 new, from Iceland, Malaysia and Italy, were elected. Bali Declaration on Intercultural Dialogue Group discussions on different ways of increasing Intercultural Dialogue both within ISGF, and within the wider community led to a document: Bali Declaration Highlights relevant to us: Celebrate International Day of Tolerance starting in 2018 16 th November Take part in social actions such as interaction with refugees, young offenders, families in need, in conjunction with other organisations. Organise or participate in activities which facilitate contact with other cultures sport, cooking, dance, music, family exchanges. Try to have joint activities with other Fellowships/Guilds both here and abroad, including Twinning. Example a small Guild in Germany decided to study other religions visit their places of worship and get to know some of the people
Action time what other countries are doing Haiti project Donations from ISGF members have helped with improving an orphanage, furnishing a school and building Guide HQ India tackled problem of plastic waste connected with religious celebration by making bags from old newspapers. New ISGF Project - Shelters for refugees from South Sudan in Uganda Shelters project In partnership with UNHCR It is hoped that funds for 1000 basic tents, costing 25 each will be raised by ISGF members
