2 VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2018 The VisitEngland Awards for Excellence, now in their 29th year, celebrate the very best of English tourism by recognising innovation, growth and business success throughout the industry. Through sponsorship of the Awards, you will reach tourism businesses from accommodation and attractions through to restaurants and destination organisations. The Awards website alone will help your brand reach over 15,000 users. The Awards are open to all tourism businesses in England either directly or via local and regional tourism competitions. Three finalists will be selected for each Award category. All finalists will be awarded either Gold, Silver or Bronze at the discretion of the National judges. The Awards process culminates with a ceremony taking place in the afternoon on or around St George s Day (23rd April), attended by up to 300 UK travel industry colleagues. 3 Headline Sponsor - 15,000 Headline Sponsorship offers one organisation a unique opportunity to create brand impact to a captive tourism industry audience. Benefits - pre-event: Provision of a VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2018, sponsored by XXX logo for use on Sponsor s business literature, website, stationery and other visual materials (digital and print). Accreditation as Headline Sponsor on event e-invitation. Opportunity for Sponsor to provide a competition prize to be drawn on the day. Sponsorship announcement in one Awards for Excellence e-newsletter and Sponsor logo included in the footer of all e-newsletters. Sponsorship announcement in VisitBritain/VisitEngland e-newsletter (12,982 circulation), of up to 50 words, written by VisitEngland. Right to publicise sponsorship in Sponsor s media releases, publications etc, subject to copy clearance by the VisitEngland Corporate Communications Team. All finalists in Sponsor s category will receive a PR toolkit which will include a draft release for circulation to their media contacts and will incorporate Sponsor s logo as category Sponsor and a quote from the Sponsor. Online/social media activity to drive traffic to Sponsor s website: Occasional re-tweeting of Sponsor s twitter posts in the run up to the Awards (VisitEngland to determine relevant tweets). Tweeting up to three Sponsor videos (supplied by Sponsor and subject to VisitEngland approval). Sponsorship announcement by VisitEngland on social media to @VisitEnglandBiz (corporate) followers (13,300 followers). Re-tweet Sponsor s tweet announcing sponsorship. Logo on footer of all pages of Awards website with hyperlink to Sponsor s website (15,000 unique visitors). Logo and description on Sponsors page of Awards website. 4 Benefits - event-day: Sponsor table/small display in reception area at the ceremony. Dedicated Headline Sponsor Drinks pre-awards ceremony, with up to 20 attendees invited for 30 minutes prior to general guest arrival (to be agreed between VisitEngland & Sponsor). Three minute Headline Sponsor Presentation on stage at the beginning of the ceremony. Inclusion of Sponsor logo on pull-up banners throughout the venue. Opportunity to provide a branded Thank you gift to all attendees. Presentation and photograph on stage with Gold award winner for up to three categories (subject to availability). Opportunity to provide branded goodie bags for all event attendees (at Sponsor s cost). Inclusion of Sponsor logo on special Sponsor thank you display in reception area.
