Itinerary 1 st Day Dover to Brussels 2 nd Day Brussels to Stuttgart 3 rd Day Stuttgart to Stelvio 4 th Day Stelvio to Lake Garda 5 th Day Lake Garda to Piran 6 th Day Piran to Dubrovnik 7 th Day Dubrovnik
Itinerary - Day 1 Day 1: Meet at services just outside Dover Ferry Port. Laugh at everyone s cars Arrive in France around midday Make your way to Brussels Calais to Bruges 90 minutes (80miles) Bruges to Brussels (Belgium) 90 minutes. (65 miles) Parking just outside hostel for free between 6pm-9am or pay for the multi storey car park across the road.
Itinerary - Day 2 Depart at 8am to Luxembourg (If you want to add another country), 2.5hrs. (125 miles) Luxembourg to Nurburgring (Germany), 95 minutes. (99 miles) Yes you can drive around the ring Can stop at Cologne if you have time 3.5 hours to Stuttgart. (204 miles) Stay in Stuttgart at Hotel Alex 30 - Alexanderstrasse 30, Stuttgart-Mitte, Stuttgart, 70184, Germany.
Itinerary - Day 3 Option to either go Liechtenstein, or to go Neuschwanstein Castle Depart at 7am to Bregenz (Austria), 2.5 hours. (160 miles) or Neuschwanstein Castle (140 miles) Bregenz to Liechtenstein (Austria), 0.8 hours. (40 miles), explore the castle Lichtenstein to Chur (Swiss), 0.8 hrs. (40 miles) or Neuschwanstein to Italian Border (80 miles) Chur to Stelvio. 100 miles (3 hours) or Italian Boarder to Stelvio (30 miles) Staying In Alps, however, this drive is tricky. Therefore, no hotel booked, it is the only hostel/hotel that is down to the participant to book as part of the route.
Itinerary Day 4 Day 4: Stelvio to Milan (Italy), 5 hours. (220 miles) is one route, but you can just go direct for a shorter day Take on the greatest driving road in the world Milan to Lake Garda (Italy), 150 mins. (2.5 miles) Hotel Bonotto, Lake Garda.
Itinerary Day 5 Head to Venice. 2 hours (120 miles) Venice to Piran. 2.5 hours (130 miles) A shorter day for a chance to spend more time in the 3 cities you will pass through and out of the car Staying at Hotel Parin, Stjenkova 1, Piran, 6330, Slovenia.
Itinerary Day 6 Piran to Dubrovnik (Croatia), via Split for Lunch. 7 hours. (415 miles) Alternative option is to go to Krka waterfalls Longest Drive Croatian Toll Road from top to bottom Convoy down the coast For those that don t get insurance in Bosnia (most of you), there is a boat, but you will need to move fairly quickly through Croatia to make it in good time.
