01 W ZURICH ARRIVAL E L C O M E D I N N E R SATURDAY 16 JUNE Following your arrival into Zurich Airport, enjoy chauffeur transfers to your luxury 5-star accommodation. 02 SUPERCAR DRIVE E X P E R I E N C E SUNDAY 17 - WEDNESDAY 20 JUNE Spend three unforgettable days experiencing a fleet of the world s best supercars on the roads for which they were built. The route covers a selection of the most breathtaking and renowned roads in Switzerland, including the big three Furka, Susten and Grimsel. Day One warms up with some of the lesser known, but enjoyable passes that traverse the central Swiss countryside, building up to the tight switchbacks of Oberalppass. Following a rest day to explore and enjoy the Swiss Alps, you will return behind the wheel to conquer three of the most famed driving roads in Europe.
First up is Furka. Immortalised by the Aston DB5 v Ford Mustang chase in James Bond s Goldfinger, this incredible road alternates between tight hairpins and long sweepers, before linking into Grimsel. Besides being a fantastic section of tarmac, Grimsel features jaw-dropping panoramas around every corner. Without being too technical, Grimsel will provide an enjoyable ride and break up the intense challenge provided by Furka and Susten. Susten is marked with fast downhill portions that lead through valleys, banked turns and steep uphills, all of which will leave you grabbing at the gears. After an incredible day of motoring, the convoy will arrive into Vitznau via a stunning lakeside drive. Your final day of driving will take you south towards Lake Geneva via a series of lazy sweeping roads and tight bends. Over the course of the day you will traverse the lush valleys and peaks of the Entlebuch UNESCO biosphere and Gruyere Natural Park, surrounded by steeped snowcapped peaks, arriving into the renowned lakeside town of Montreux via Col de Mosses. To complement and complete your experience, along the drive you will stay in incredible ultra-luxury hotels, historic residences, ski chalets and palaces, spending your evenings dining in an array of celebrated, award-winning restaurants.
On your rest day in Andermatt, you have the option of a leisurely morning enjoying the hotel s extensive wellness facilities or an additional half day drive on the alpine roads surrounding Andermatt. In the afternoon the group will then be flown via chartered helicopter around the Matterhorn, landing atop a scenic glacier before continuing on to enjoy a gourmet lunch at a celebrated restaurant in Zermatt with panoramic views of the Alps. 03 CHATEAU RIVIERA ADVENTURES DE CHILLON & LAVAUX WINE REGION THURSDAY 21 & FRIDAY 22 JUNE Your final day will take on a more relaxed tempo, trading alpine passes and adrenalin for history and gastronomy. Over the course of the day you will visit the historic Chateau Chillon castle on the shores of Lake Geneva, before indulging in a food and wine tour of the UNESCO World Heritage listed Lavaux wine region overlooking the lake. The gastronomy will continue into the evening with an evening experience at Denis Martin. More than a restaurant (and a Michelin Starred one at that!), the renowned chef will provide the group with a complete culinary experience featuring avant-garde cuisine. The evening will begin in the restaurants high tech laboratory with a special demonstration from the chef himself, displaying the cryogenization, distillation and centrifugation processes used to create the cuisine on which you will dine. From here you will enjoy Martin s signature fourteen course menu including paired wines. What a way to conclude an unforgettable week! Following a restful night s sleep enjoy a leisurely morning on the Lake before departing for onward travel plans. On request, the UDT team can provide advice or assistance with arranging flights. TRAVEL INSURANCE All participants are to have a comprehensive travel insurance policy in place prior to departing for the Tour. In addition to medical and luggage cover, particular attention should be paid to rental vehicle excess options. FUEL, VEHICLE & INCIDENTAL FUND Fuel for tour vehicles is included within this fund, which is comprised of a USD $900 contribution made by all tour guests. This fund also covers major tolls, minor damages, and other group expenses. The purpose of the fund is to keep our insurance excesses as low as possible, which is a maximum deductible of 10,000 (approx. USD $13,000), as well as limit other costs borne by you. The fund does not exclude your responsibility to ensure the vehicle you drive is not damaged under your care - wheels, tyres, windscreens or other damage not specifically covered by insurance will not be covered by this fund. We will pay for fuel where possible, but any fuel or toll receipts paid for by you during the tour must be submitted to us for payment within 30 days of the conclusion of the tour for a refund.
