I would like to thank the Government of New Caledonia for agreeing to host our Conference and for providing information on the venue and accommodation. I would also like to thank SPC for providing the Conference venue. Please take note of the following information and action as necessary. Agenda: A draft agenda for the Conference is enclosed (Annex B). You are requested to review this draft and provide your comments or recommended changes by 28 th October 2016. Please forward comments or suggestions to international.relations@hydro.gov.au. Conference Venue: The Conference will take place at the SPC Headquarters, Promenade Roger Laroque, Noumea. Flights: There are limited flights to and from Noumea, so please book early. Accommodation: Please note that delegates are requested to make their own accommodation reservation. A limited number of rooms have been blocked booked at the Nouvata Park Hotel at a special room rate of between 7400-9400 XPF (room and breakfast). Capacity Building Programme are not required to make any hotel reservations. This will be done directly by LINZ/AHO. Transportation: The Government of New Caledonia has kindly offered to provide a shuttle service between the airport and hotel for arrivals and departures. Please ensure when you are completing your registration form you provide your flight details to facilitate arrangement of transportation. Registration: Those attending the SWPHC Conference are requested to complete the registration form provided at Annex C and send it to international.relations@hydro.gov.au at their earliest convenience and not later than 16 th October 2016. Note: applicants that have been confirmed for attendance at the SWPHC Technical Workshop for PICTs in Developing Strategic Development Plans for Hydrography and are funded under the IHO Capacity Building Programme are funded for attendance at both the workshop and the Conference and are not required to complete the Conference registration form. National Reports: I would like to take this opportunity to request submissions of National Reports, in the standardised structure, at least two weeks prior to the meeting (by 16 th November 2016). Visa: Depending on your nationality, the purpose and duration of your visit, you may require a visa to enter New Caledonia. It is the responsibility of individual travellers to ascertain if they require a visa and perform the necessary steps to acquire one.
