Juan Antonio Casanova Airport Privatization Management and Tourism Development Juan Antonio Casanova CEO Lima Airport 20 June Spanish Juan Antonio Casanova, served as CEO of Lima Airport Partners (concessionaire of the Lima Airport till 2030). Prior to becoming CEO of Lima Airport Partners S.R.L., served as Advisor to the Venezuelan and Colombian Investment Committees, and also as CEO of Sistemas de Telecomunicaciones S.A., the Spanish leader company in design, construction and telecommunications networks. In addition to that position he was a Member of the Board of the Joint Chambers of Commerce of Spain and several South American Countries. Before Juan Antonio Casanova joined Acciona S.A. Group in 1990 as CEO of Ineuropa Handling, 2nd licensed operator of airport services in Spain. He also served as Chairman of ENUR S.A., investment and diversification vehicle of the Group, in services and industry. He had a long working experience in Saudi Arabia as Vice President International to the Rolaco Group. He also served as Division General Manager of Prodinsa S.A. (Industrial holding of Banco Madrid and Banco Catalan de Desarrollo). His career started as Technical Manager of the Spanish Shipyard Astano S.A. Casanova holds a degree in Naval Engineering and also holds an MBA from the INSEAD, Fontainebleau in France.

Etienne Mange Airport Operational Readiness Since many years, Etienne is actively engaged in airport operations, strategic planning and coordination. He was responsible for bringing the new passenger terminal of Brussels International Airport (Belgium) into operations in accordance with new service standards and within the financial goals defined by the private stockholders. In Kuala Lumpur he was project director for the managerial and operational setup of a new ground handling company, including design and construction of a cargo complex and GSE building. Etienne has also been involved in the conceptual planning of a new international passenger terminal and a maintenance complex for McCarran Airport (Las Vegas), including legal and financial requirements. His tasks mainly are the assessment, supervision and control of the airport master planning and design. Prior to the present projects, he was assigned consultant / project director for airport development, renovation and construction with several international organisations in the Philippines, Kambodia, United Arab Emirates, Georgia, Hungary and Peru. He has 28 years of experience in airport planning, assessment, development, design, tendering and construction supervision. He is holder of a commercial pilots license.

Since the idea of the Aviation Consultancy Network was born he supported and coformed it. During his career at Delta Air Lines he held roles of increasing responsibilities, was a well respected and easy to approach people person and served as Senior Vice President - Airport Customer Service. In this function he was responsible for airport facility needs, equipment, operations and Human Resources for the third biggest Air Line worldwide. Subsequent to this assignment, he founded Delta Global Services, assembled a team and established a business plan to create a wholly owned subsidiary for Delta Air Lines that provides airport services and training to Delta and other US Airlines. DGS is now one of the biggest ground handlers in the US with about 8,000 employees. Post retirement from Delta Marty serves as Executive Director - DATE (Delta-Aeroflot Travel Enterprise). With efforts directed towards growth of travel and tourism into and out of Russia.

It is one of the EUROCONTROL framework companies. His company BluSky ATM provides value added consultation services in the field of air traffic management. The fields covered are air/ground data link, advanced navigation and surveillance techniques, controller and airborne decision support tools, ATC system architecture and airport operations as well as the development and maintenance of advanced ATM concepts, like Collaborative Decision Making (CDM), System Wide Information Management (SWIM) and Free Flight operations.

Jhan Schmitz Transport and Engineering Jhan Schmitz Program Manager 9 December USA Jhan is currently Group Vice President of CH2M HILL and over the past year has been acting as Program Director for reconstruction in the public works sector for the US Mission in Iraq, following his assignment as team leader for post-conflict assessments in Iraq for the World Bank. Jhan has over 30 years of experience in airport planning, development, design, construction, and operations. Prior to his Iraq assignments, he consulted on airport development and privatization in Europe and the Middle East, on optimizing airport operations for clients in Asia, and on master planning and airport security measures for airports in North America. He was Program Manager for the new Hong Kong International Airport and related projects, and has had senior management/program management and consulting assignments on airports throughout Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
