Part B Reorganising Written Information Volite prirodu i bavite se pitanjem oc uvanja prirodne bas tine. Za vrijeme putovanja kroz Hrvatsku posjetili ste Lonjsko polje. Odus evljeni ste ovim podruc jem ali ste c uli da postoje planovi za proéirenje industrijske zone na étetu Lonjskog polja. You are impressed with this area, but have heard that plans exist to extend the industrial zone to the detriment of Lonjsko polje. TEXT 1 LONJSKO POLJE PARK PRIRODE Usprkos svim situacijama koje nam onemoguc;uju opus tanje, usprkos modernizaciji i urbanizaciji, treba nac;i vremena da bi se vidjele i spoznale vrijednosti i ljepote ruralnih predjela koji djeluju toliko pitomo i umirujuc;e da privlac e stanovnike gradova, umorne od utrke s vremenom i novcem, site asfalta, betona, stakla i z eljeza. I pronas li smo jedno od takvih podruc ja, Lonjsko polje, udaljeno oko 50 km od Zagreba, s oko 500 km 2, moz e se rec;i da sadrz i rijetkosti jedinstvene u Europi. U ovom dijelu svijeta nailazimo na neke primjerke flore i faune koje su drugdje potpuno nestale. Posjet tom kraju kod svakog c ovjeka nuz no budi znatiz elju, odus evljenje, pa i strahopos tovanje. Lonjsko polje je jedno od ponajbolje oc uvanih nizinskih poplavnih podruc ja u izvornom prirodnom ekolos kom obliku na europskoj razini. Istic u se vrijednosti sac uvane izvorne flore i faune. Ovom biljnom i z ivotinjskom svijetu kao prirodnom okolis u Lonjskog polja, treba pridodati i humanu dimenziju ovdas njeg puc anstva. Stoljec;ima to se puc anstvo prilago avalo suz ivotu u toj flori i fauni u vrijeme sezonskih poplava. S tovis e, ono se prilago ava jos i sada, usred svih utjecaja, pritisaka pa i udara industrijske ere, koja je vec; nepovratno devastirala slic na poplavna podruc ja u slivovima drugih europskih velikih rijeka. Park prirode Lonjsko polje nastao je na osnovu zakona dones enog u oz ujku 1990. godine. Tim propisom zakonski je zas tic;en ekolos ki najoc uvaniji nizinski dio Lonjskog polja. Iznenadilo nas je da je priroda u tim predjelima pristupac na kao rijetko gdje drugdje, a blizu je triju industrijskih gradova> Sisak, Kutina i Petrinja. Brojna sela na ovom podruc ju obiluju usc uvanim drvenim kuc;ama, tako da voz nja bilo kojom cestom predstavlja rijedak doz ivljaj i ugodu za urbanizirano oko. Ubrzo smo stigli do Sela C igoc, u kojemu zbog pogodnih prirodnih uvjeta, z ivi velik broj roda koje razvijaju gnijezda, te je Euronatur\ godine 1994. selo C igoc proglasio europskim selom roda. To je nes to poput glavnog grada roda. Tu smo saznali da, zbog ljepote i znac aja sac uvanih drvenih kuc;a, koje zajedno c ine rijedak primjerak ruralne cjeline, selo Krapje je proglas eno spomenikom A\ kategorije i selom graditeljske bas tine. Posjetili smo to selo i odus evili smo se pronalascima. Preporuc ujemo vam da posjetite ovaj prekrasan ekolos ki oc uvan dio Hrvatske koji je samo 50 km udaljen od Zagreba. 6

TEXT 2 Najznac ajnije je ipak gnijez enje desetak parova z lic arke bijele. Za sada se zna da se z lic arka gnijezdi jedino na ovom lokalitetu u Hrvatskoj. Takvih izoliranih gnijezdis ta ima jos na Niz iderskom jezeru u Austriji, moc vari Naardeneer u Nizozemskoj i na us c;u Guadalquira u S panjolskoj. Zanimlijivo je spomenuti da u neposrednoj blizini seljaci obra uju svoja polja< c ini se da to ovim pticama uopc;e ne smeta one su gotovo pitome. Na tom objektu c ovjek zaista ima osjec;aj kao da je u zoolos kom, odnosno ptic jem vrtu. Orao s tekavac Raznorotka Hrvatski posavac Turopoljska svinja S tuka Posavski gonic Jedna od najrje ih ptica u Europi. Ove rijetke biljke nema vis e nigdje u Europi. Sve rje a pasmina vjerojatno najizdrz ljivijeg konja danas njice. Gotovo izumrla vrsta svinja. Nekoliko primjeraka smjes teno je u zagrebac kom zoolos kom vrtu. Lonjsko polje je najvec;e priodno mrijestilis te s tuka u Europi. Autohtona vrsta lovac kog psa s odlikama odlic nog gonic a. Pored navedenih rijetkih biljnih i z ivotinjskih vrsta, jos jedan dio bogatstva ovog kraja su crna roda, jelenko, divlja svinja, jelen, srna, patka, prepelica, fazan, grlica, drozd,... Jedino jos prez ivjelo vec;e naselje usred samog Lonjskog polja jest selo Svinjic ko. Selo se nalazi izme u rijeka Save i Lonje, a u njemu se sve do nedavno dvaput godis nje za sezonskih jesenskih i proljetnih poplava z ivjelo opkoljeno poplavnom vodom. Tada se vec;im dijelom i u samom selu komuniciralo c amcima. 7
