Nachádza v štáte Virginia približne 220 km južnejšie od Ocean City (MD) a priemerná teplota sa tu počas leta pohybuje medzi 25 C až 30 C nezriedka sa však priblíži k 40 C, takže ak sa chceš po práci opaľovať na pláži, ideálna voľba. Opaľovanie ťa /asi/ nebude baviť každý deň a z Virginia Beach sa v pohode autom dostaneš do Richmondu hlavného mesta štátu Virginia - za 2 hodiny, Washingtonu DC (3,5 hodiny autom) a ak ťa ešte stále neomrzela pláž, do 2 hodín sa autom dostaneš do Outer Banks. O nádherné fotky pri oceáne teda nebude núdza (už len kúpiť dobrý foťák!). Hneď vedľa Virginia Beach sa nachádza najväčšia námorná základňa na svete Naval Station Norfolk kde si môžeš pozrieť lietadlové lode a jedno z najrušnejších vojenských letísk. Ak miluješ zvuk stíhačiek, tak nad plážami Virginia Beach uvidíš každý deň vzlietať a pristávať stroje US Air Force (niekedy to je fakt zážitok!). Only participants with start dates in May will be exempt from this requirement. Participants are eligible for and end-of-program bonus of $100 when they meeting these requirements: 1. Participants must work until the exact end date agreed upon in job offer/hiring process. 2. Participants must only have 1 absence from work during the summer and no disciplinary action in their file.
3. Participants must have obtained and furnished their Social Security number to Human Resources department within 30 days of hire. Friend Groups and Couples: Friend groups and couples are allowed to apply together, but they are not guaranteed to work in the same hotel or department. This will not affect friend groups and/or couples option to live together. All Coastal Hospitality hotels are located within a 2-mile range of each other (within biking distance). Couples and friend groups may live in the same apartment but may work at different hotel properties. Salary: Please see Rate Per Hour as noted for each position, for each property, in the tables above. Work Hours: 32 hours per week guaranteed, with additional hours required during busy weeks. Housing Information: InterExchange will work with this employer to ensure that participants have housing within biking distance of their workplace. A reservation deposit of $150 to $200 per-participant will be required in advance of arrival, in order to reserve housing. Approximate student housing costs in Virginia Beach are between $100 and $120 per week, per student. A security deposit upon check in will be required, which is usually between $200 and $300, and is refundable at the end of the lease/contract if the apartment is left clean and in good condition. Area Description Virginia Beach: Whether strolling one of the nation s best boardwalks in the Resort Area, catching crabs on the Chesapeake Bay, or shopping in one of the area's popular malls, each region of Virginia Beach has something for everyone. During the summer there are festivals and outdoor concerts every week, and plenty of water-sports to participate in like swimming, fishing, jet skiing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and parasailing. Virginia Beach is home to the Virginia Aquarium, the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Arts, the Naval Aviation Museum, and close to attractions like historical Williamsburg and the Jamestown Settlement. From here Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Kings Dominion amusement parks are less than 2 hours away, and Washington DC is just a four hour day trip!
