I-8, Council made the following regulations: 1. The Addiction Services Act Regulations (EC301/85) are revoked. 2. These regulations come in force on September 2, 2017. EXPLANATORY NOTES SECTION 1 revokes the Regulations made under the Addiction Services Act, which was repealed in 1993. SECTION 2 provides for the commencement of these regulations. E-12 Council authorized the Minister of Education, Early Learning and Culture enter in an agreement with the Government of Canada, as represented by the Minister of Employment and Social Development, for the Canada-Prince Edward Island Early Learning and Child Care Agreement for the period from April 1, 2017 March 31, 2020, such as more particularly described in the draft agreement.

E-12 Council authorized the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries enter in an agreement with the Government of Canada, as represented by the Minister of Fisheries, Oceans and the Canadian Coast Guard, and the Provinces of New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Nova Scotia, as represented by their respective Ministers responsible for fisheries, participate in the Atlantic Framework Agreement for the Atlantic Fisheries Fund Program, for the period April 1, 2017 March 31, 2024, such as more particularly described in the draft agreement. E-12 Council authorized the Minister of Economic Development and Tourism, enter in an agreement with the Abegweit First Nation and the Lennox Island First Nation, as represented by the Mi kmaq Confederacy of PEI, provide assistance develop and construct the Mi kmaq Confederacy of PEI Building, such as more particularly described in the draft agreement.
