Disused AD (Milltown), 4nm SE of Lossiemouth, is a lit aerial farm with similiar prominent rwy lay out to Lossiemouth. Pilots are warned it is DANGEROUS to make low passes over Milltown or to attempt to make approaches or landings there. IFR TRAFFIC 2. Acft will be issued release clearances that conform to published SID. See relevant procedure Charts G1 and G2. CLUTCH QFE 3. Lossiemouth and Kinloss operate on a single Clutch QFE pressure setting for all operations within the CMATZ for the associated instument procedures and radar patterns iaw MIL AIP ENR 2-1- 5-3.7. When Lossiemouth (higher AD) is open the Clutch QFE will be the observed barometric pressure for the TDZE of the Lossemouth rwy in use. STANDARD MATZ CROSSERS 4. The instrument app to Kinloss Rwy 26 passes 2nm S of Lossiemouth at 2 QFE Kinloss. Inbd acft commence desc to the S of Lossiemouth and conflict with Lossiemouth Rwy 23 departures. ATC will notify pilots of such inbd acft by making a "standard MATZ crosser" call. Acft are permitted to TKOF provided they confirm MATZ crosser in sight; thereafter, pilots are responsible for maintaining adequate separation against the Kinloss inbd, irrespective of the ATC departure clearance or flight rules in use. VFR HEL 5. Hel departures/recovering to Lossiemouth should do so iaw the special procedures detailed in Hel Landing Sites Directory (UK). 6. Hel circuit are flown at QFE and are permitted subject to the requirements of station based acft. Circuit procedures depicted on Chart C1C do not apply to Hel; however, noise sensitive areas are to be avoided. GENERAL VFR FIXED WING NOISE ABATEMENT 7. Acft overland within 15nm of Lossiemouth are not to be flown below 1000 MSD. 8. Avoid overflying Elgin and Lossiemouth towns and Gordonston school. VISUAL CIRCUIT 9. Visual cct noise abatement procedures are detailed in chart C1C and are to be complied with by all fixed-wing acft. 10.
