These experiences can include: Cooking Demonstration with a Lake House Chef Your team will have an opportunity to learn some Lake House classics with one of our resident chefs. Culinary Forage & Feast Your team will go in search of local farms and producers to gather a variety of ingredients before heading back to Lake House to construct and share a delicious lunch. Pizza Olympics Learn the art of wood fired pizza making while enjoying a little bit of healthy competition. TEAM BUILDING Natasha Morgan Oak & Monkey Puzzle Dry Stone Walling with Josh Bowes Garden design and the Experience of Landscape with Natasha Morgan 10am 4pm $435 pp, 6 10 guests Morning tea & lunch provided Learn the art and craft of dry stone walling with Daylesford s esteemed stonemason, dry stone waller and artist Josh Bowes. Guests receive a stonemasons kit including; a scutch hammer, chisel, safety glasses and gloves, plus a dry stone walling book. 10am 4pm $435 pp, 4 12 guests Morning tea & lunch provided Gain an understanding of garden design principles, whilst exploring the design and construction of local property, Oak & Monkey Puzzle. Hosted by respected landscape architect, passionate gardener and teacher Natasha Morgan, guests receive a garden design kit, guided tour of the property, seminar on garden design principles and an opportunity to develop their newly acquired garden design skills. 3
Spade to Blade Workshops Hands-on Bull Boar Sausage Making Workshops Groups of 4 8, flat rate $690 4 hours Lunch included Why not get your team together to learn the local tradition of bull boar sausage making. A hands on workshop, the day is hosted by local chef Gary Thomas. Gary will share his extensive knowledge of local history, the origin of the bull boar sausage and the connection with local Swiss-Italian heritage. Mushroom Hunting (March July only) Groups of 4 8, flat rate $690 3 hours Lunch included Take a walk around the pine forests that border the Daylesford Hepburn region. Chef and mushroom aficionado Gary Thomas will accompany you and provide you with information about different varieties of fungi found in the region. Take your findings back to the Spade to Blade kitchen and prepare a meal with a selection of pine mushrooms and slippery jacks. Daylesford Ballooning Hot Air Balloon Ride From $570 pp, groups of 8 10 guests 1 hour flight Champagne breakfast included Take the opportunity to truly enjoy the scenery of the region from the basket of a hot air balloon. Taking off at sunrise, you and your team will be transported across the region, giving you a bird s eye view of beautiful Daylesford, before landing and enjoying a champagne breakfast together. RedBeard Bakery Sourdough Workshop $345 pp, maximum 8 guests Monday Thursday 10am 4.30pm Lunch included Each hands-on workshop covers the difference between sourdough and normal bread, a short history of baking and wood fired ovens. Each person will make their own sourdough starter culture (leaven) using different types of flour, mill their own grain, in addition to making and baking bread. 4

Learn how to create functional tableware without a pottery wheel. Hand make plates, platters, bowls, cups, vases and more using a variety of techniques such as pinching, slab rolling, coils, and moulds. Alternatively, lessons using the pottery wheel are also available. All sessions are tailored to suit individuals and can incorporate a mixture of techniques if required. Victorian Quad Biking Tours Quad Biking From $100 pp, 1 8 guests 1 hour Have a real adventure with a ride through the Wombat State Forest you ll see beautiful flora and fauna along the way. Quad bikes are fully automatic and easy to ride with no previous experience needed. Your team will love it! Daylesford Carriage Rides Carriage Rides $210 per hour An old carriage will pick delegates up at Lake House and take them on a scenic journey around Daylesford, including through the lush surrounds of the Wombat Hill Botanic Gardens, and return them back to Lake House in time for lunch or dinner. Hepburn Lagoon Trail Rides Horse Riding $90 pp for 2 hours, 2 12 guests Light meal included Riders of all experience levels will enjoy being guided through some of Victoria s most beautiful landscapes. 5
Clunes Field and Games Clay Pigeon Shooting $120 pp for 2 hours Working in teams under the specialist care of Colin Johns four-time Australian shooting champion. Guests can experience the thrill of hitting targets like rolling rabbits and clay low and high birds to name just a few. Daylesford Tourist Train Vintage Train Ride From $60 pp, 25 94 guests 1 hour Catering available on request Take a round trip through the forest to Musk or further along the track to Bullarto. They offer midweek chartered trains as well as Saturday charters. The Silver Streak is used monthly as a catered wine, food and music train. Wild Action Zoo Australian Wildlife Meet and Greet From $1430 1 hour (between 9am 5pm) Maximum 15 guests Enjoy an amazing Australian animal experience in the grounds of Lake House. Guests will interact with a wide range of iconic Australian animals, whilst at the same time learning about each animals fascinating ecological story and the amazing adaptations they have made to survive in the often harsh and unpredictable environment. Animals can include: koala, echidna, joey kangaroo, sugar glider possum, colourful parrot, boobook owl, kookaburra, behemoth python snake and salt water crocodile. 6
Rundell & Rundell Shaker Oval Box Workshop $290 pp, 6 guests Over two days; one morning and one afternoon Participants can make three Shaker Oval boxes over the two half days. Your delegates will learn the traditional art of oval box making, shaping and steam bending timber, shaping bases and lids and carefully fitting the boxes together in the traditional methods used by the Shaker communities since the 1700 s. *Oval Box Classes can be scheduled over a weekend or at other times to suit. Spoon Carving Workshop $175 pp, 4 10 guests 6 hours Learn the art of spoon carving with spoon smith Pete Trott. During the class you will be taught about selecting the right timber, wood grain and carving with a selection of Swedish spoon carving knives. All tools are supplied. Pod Jewellery Jewellery Making Workshop $290 pp, 4 8 guests 5 hours Why not get the creative side of your teams brain working with jewellery making with a leading Silversmith. Delegates learn in a fun, social and relaxed environment. At the end of the workshop the participants walk away with their own handmade sterling silver ring. 7

Why not start your day with yoga or perhaps use Tai Chi as a way to wind down at the end of your event. This is a great way to boost morale in your team. The laughter session helps to reduce stress, energise workers, reduce conflict, develop clearer workplace communication and help workers cope with change. 8
