It s not as hard as you might think.. 1. You can wash your rig safely by using a 5 gal bucket with a mixture of 1/4 cup baby shampoo and 1/2 cup white vinegar. Rinse the rig first and with a soft brush, work your way from the top to bottom. 2. Stubborn bird/bug/tar dropping can be washed off with warm soapy water or with an ammonia based window cleaner. 3. Wash the wheels with the same soapy water butt with a different soap than the coach. If the rig has Alcoa bright wheels, use the soap or ammonia based window cleaner. Never use any harsh wheel brighter sprays for chrome and aluminum wheels. They have a protective coating you do not want to remove.

AS THE DIRECTOR OF THE VIRGINIA STATE GOOD SAM CLUB, I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE THIS TIME TO WISH EVERY FATHER, A HAPPY FATHER S DAY. MARGARET MILLER June is know for the end of spring and the start of summer. As we get into full swing of camping and enjoying warmer weather, be sure to be aware of the sun and it s effects. So remember to apply the sunscreen, minimum of 15 spf or higher. Reapply as needed or as your activities increase and/or as water washes it off. Do not forget to protect your eyes as well. Sunglasses are a must with lenses that block the UVA and UVB rays. Another option is hats and long sleeved shirts but remember that some fabrics do let the sun s rays to come through. FACKBOOKING WHILE ON THE ROAD When was the last time you posted your location on Facebook? I bet during your last trip camping. Or how about the posting that you are getting ready for your trip to wherever. You might be thinking that you are letting your friends and family know where and how you are doing. That is the advantage of social media these days but have you thought about the security of those postings? Posting on Facebook, Instagram or whatever, there are too many to name, but you are also telling people you are away from home. If you also post a picture with a chapter or group, you are also telling people that they are not at home as well. So this is a security hazard unless you have your accounts locked down. And I suggest that everyone have them security enabled. So how can you do that? The easiest way is to allow only friends see your posting and pictures. You must approve all friends so if someone wants to connect with you, they must submit a friend request. If you do not know them, you can decline their request. This action will not let them see your detailed information and pictures. It also keeps others safe when you post pictures of others. So I am not saying to stop posting, just be sure who can see what you are posting. If you are a little unsure, you can google how to do things or go to youtube and they have videos showing you how to do them. Just like you want to be safe driving down the road, you need to be safe with your social media postings as not to jeopardize your safety and the safety of others.
