Shabbat Day at leisure to relax, get over jetlag and enjoy e scenery, walk along e streams in e area. That evening we will have dinner followed by an Introductory Briefing., March 22 nd 21.3 Let s Ride! Upper Galilee-Hula Valley: Borders, Forests, Water and Lots of Birds HaGoshrim by bus to Ramot Naftali (Naftali Heights) Kefar Gil'adi Hula Valley HaGoshrim. Our first day will focus on e Upper Galilee from e Ramot Naftali heights, down along e KKL-JNF Scenic Route to e Hula Valley, 800 meters below, passing rough wetlands at KKL-JNF has restored and rehabilitated. We will learn about e bird migration routes returning to Europe from eir winter homes in Africa and end our ride wi a special dinner at e Lake Agmon HaHula project. 6 day and 8 day options will transfer from Ben Gurion Airport and join e group at e Agamon Hahula. 4 rd Monday, March Monday 23 5 6 7 Tuesday, March 24 22.3 Tuesday 23.3 Wednesday, March 25 Wednesday 24.3 Thursday Thursday, March 26 25.3 The Lower Galilee and e Sea of Galilee: Pioneering, Water & Electricity and a pleora of Oaks (Alon) HaGoshrim (by bus) - Bet Keshet Jordan River Tel Aviv (by bus) Our second day will focus on e Lower Galilee. We will start our day planting trees at e KKL- JNF tree planting center in e Golani Junction. We will en ride along KKL-JNF's new bicycle trail in Bet Keshet Forest, enjoying a magnificent view of historical Mt. Tabor and visit e Moshava of Kefar Tabor, established e same year as e KKL-JNFL. We will continue along e Sirin Plateau for a beautiful view of e Jordan Valley from Mitzpe Elot and ride down to e Jordan River below. Visiting e first Hydroelectric plant in e Middle East. The Coastal area and e Judean Mountains: From e Modern to e Ancient City, from Joshua to King David Yarkon River Ayalon Canada Park (by bus).- Roman Road to Neve Ilan Evening tour of Jerusalem: The cradle of e Jewish People The fif day of our mission begins in urban Tel Aviv, cycling along e Yarkon River to e KKL- JNF constructed wetlands project at Sheva Tahanot (Seven Mills), ending is portion of e ride at e Ten Mills. We will en proceed to Ayalon Canada Park (by bus) and ride rough e Park learning about ancient agriculture, aqueducts and hearing e stories of battles, ancient and modern. We will continue along e Roman Road wi its milestones and fortresses to Neve Ilan Hotel where we will rest and shower. In e evening we will visit Jerusalem e capital of Israel and tour e place where it all began The City of David. The Judean fooills Norern Negev: Forestry, Caves, Desertification and Wildflowers Galore Jerusalem Bet Shemesh Adulam Park- Yatir Forest (by bus) Masha'be Sadeh. The six day of our tour will be a day of changes from green forests and woodlands to e Negev desert. We will ride down Nahal Kisalon to KKL-JNF Adulam Park wi its beautiful scenery and weal of archaeological remains, along e new Adulam MTB trail, stopping to visit one of e new boutique wineries in e region. We will take e bus to KKL-JNF's Yatir Forest and enjoy a short ride in Israel s largest planted forest located in e desert and continue to Masha'be Sadeh for e night, relaxing our tired muscles at e Neve Midbar Spa after dinner. Negev Mountains Nahal Tsin: Cliffs, Springs, Nabateans and Bedouins Halukim Ridge - Nahal Tsin - En Akev and En Avedat springs Traditional Bedouin Hospitality. We will ride past e home and grave of David Ben Gurion e founder and first President of Israel to Halukim Ridge riding down to Nahal Tsin Canyon and along e oasis of Shaviv, Zik and Ekev springs. We will end our day by hiking up e canyon cliff of En Avedat Nature Reserve to our destination where we will spend e night enjoying traditional Bedouin desert hospitality. 9, March 27 Saturday Night, Saturday March 28 10 26.3 27.3 28.3 Eilat Mountains: Egypt, Sinai, e Red Sea The Finger of God Negev Desert - Eilat Mountians - Red Sea -Eilat. Our last day will begin wi a bus ride via e famous Ramon Crater to e road along e Egyptian border. We will begin our ride descending from Maaleh Sayarim to e amazing Nahal Etek canyon. We will proceed to Timna Park rough Nahal Raham wi e wondrous Solomon s Pillars and ancient copper mines, we will reach e end of our trip at e city of Eilat on e shore of e sparkling blue Red Sea. This last stretch will be along e bicycle trail KKL- JNF developed in e area. That evening we will sit togeer for Shabbat Dinner at e hotel. 6 day option will depart for Ben Gurion Airport in e morning. You can enjoy a day of Rest and Relaxation followed by our Farewell Dinner saying goodbye to all, until next year!
