ACCOMMODATION IMLIL DOUAR SAMRA GUEST HOUSE The Douar Samra is situated at an altitude at 1850 m in the Atlas Mountains, 20 minute walk or mule ride from the village of Imlil, which is 90 minute drive from Marrakesh. Integrated into a traditional Berber village -made up of thirty or so traditional stone and rammed-earth dwellings-, the Douar Samra has been carefully restored using ancient, traditional methods. The residence has been decorated and furnished to reflect Berber living and consequently the style is simple with all furnishings, rugs and coverings sourced from local craftsmen. There are 10 bedrooms distributed in three different buildings, each with its own bathroom, some with fireplace or with balcony. In keeping with the natural feel, the rooms in the main building don't have lights or electricity and the candle-lit evenings add to the warm atmosphere. The Douar Samra has a roof terrace with spectacular panoramic views, a hammam, and serves traditional Berber cuisine prepared and cooked to the highest standard. KALAA MGOUNA KASBAH ITRAN Set atop a cliff on the edge of the Vallee du Roses, the Kasbah Itran is a traditional option with beautiful views across the valley. The Kasbah itself has been built using local materials and traditional methods, and the 9 rooms all have a no-frill and authentic feel to them. Most of the guest rooms have a balcony and an en suite bathroom, and a couple have air conditioning. With Berber tents on the terraces and a restaurant serving hearty Moroccan dishes, the Kasbah Itran is a comfortable and interesting stop-over for exploring the nearby valleys and oases. MARRAKECH RIAD KSAR ANIKA The continuously praised Ksar Anika is beautifully designed taking on the rich tradition of the classic Riad whilst adding a lighter touch of space, light, peace and tranquillity. Each room has been carefully designed to incorporate the latest modern amenities without compromising on the historic features of the property, which all lead out to an inviting pool at the centre of the courtyard. The menu at the restaurant changes daily according to freshness and seasoned appeal of the produce at the daily market. SKOURA LES JARDINS DE SKOURA This delightful renovated kasbah situated in the palm groves of Skoura, oozes with traditional style and is one of the regions most sought after properties. With just 8 beautifully appointed rooms, each featuring en-suite facilities, guests can take advantage of the picturesque gardens and terraces, on site solarium, pool, library, delicious cuisine and handicraft boutique. Wi-Fi facilities also available. For activity seekers there s an equestrian centre and hotel can arrange 4x4 excursions, local treks, karting and mountain biking.

TAROUDANT PALAIS OUMENSOUR Just 10 minutes from the old medina, the Palais Oumensour is a lovely traditional riad with a private and relaxing feel. The 10 rooms and suites are all clean and modern with traditional Moroccan touches such as rugs and lamps, and all have been fitted with air conditioning, en suite toilets and have either pool or patio views. The outdoor pool is located in the centre of the pretty main courtyard surrounded by plants, banana and palm trees. Guests can enjoy the Moroccan cuisine on offer either in one of the indoor dining areas or out on the terrace by the pool, and can relax in the afternoons with a treatment or hammam at the spa. TATA DAR INFIANE Surrounded by palm trees, the Dar Infiane guest house lies in the heart of the Tata palmery just outside the town itself. Built 500 years ago, the building has been restored to this comfortable guest house but has kept many original features such as the low doorways and wooden beams. The 10 guest rooms each have their own authentic character and design, and each has a private en suite bathroom, air conditioning and heating. The guest house has various little terraces where guests can sit and enjoy the Moroccan cuisine or simply watch over the palmery. ZAGORA RIAD LAMANE In the heart of the Draa Oasis, the Riad Lamane is shaded by palm trees just a mile outside of the town of Zagora itself. The guest rooms are a mixture of traditional rooms, bungalows and Berber or African themed tents. All the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the bungalows and tents are spread around the gardens offering privacy and a quiet escape. Meals are served in either the restaurant or the traditional desert tent by the outdoor pool, and there is a mixture of Moroccan and Berber dishes on offer.
