Other Parks 5 Donaldson Park/ Rowe Community Center 900 NW 43rd Ave, Coconut Creek, FL 33066 Park Hours: Sunrise to Sunset Pavilion Hours: Monday - Saturday: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM Sunday: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM About Rowe Community Center Dedicated to Jack and Ethel Rowe, who worked to build the original recreation center in 1973. Jack was a Mayor and Councilman for the City, while Ethel was the City's first recreation professional and one of the founders of the Coconut Creek Women's Club. Rowe served the community as a recreation center until September 1, 2013. The center is being used as a temporary fire station, until the new fire station is built and operational. Adjacent to the Rowe Center, Donaldson Park is named after Helen Donaldson, the City's first City Clerk. Offers Pavilion for permitting boat ramp/dock jogging/walking paths playground restrooms, sand volleyball court.

His wife Commissioner Marilyn Gerber, succeeded him after he passed away serving the community for 17 years before retiring in 2013. Located near the Discovery Preschool and Tradewinds Elementary School. Offers Athletic fields for permitting (both baseball/ softball and soccer fields), playground, restrooms News about Lakeside Park Lakeside Park will be closed starting on March 1st due to insulation of a new playground. The theme of this playground will be Circus. Lakeside Park playground is schedule to be reopen in May of 2018.

Developed with financial assistance from the 1998 Florida Legislature through the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, this park opened on January 13, 2001. To further benefit the area's youth, 3 new athletic fields were constructed in 2012 and dedicated on February 6, 2013. Other Parks 12 Windmill Park Closed for Renovations period of the Windmill Park Improvement Project. The park will remain closed until the spring of 2018. We encourage our residents and park users to utilize our other city parks which also offer similar amenities as Windmill Park to maintain a healthy, physically fit and socially balanced quality of life. The Parks & Recreation Department thanks you for your patience during this phase of beautification to Windmill Park 700 Lyons Road Hours of operation (*upon reopening*): Monday - Thursday: 7am to 10pm Friday & Saturday 7am to 9pm Sunday: 7am to 8pm Located on Lyons Road north of Atlantic Boulevard, Windmill Park offers tennis courts, racquetball courts, sand volleyball courts, basketball courts, a dog park, and a covered playground. Windmill Park is currently closed for renovations and will reopen in the spring of 2018. Windmill Improvement Project The Coconut Creek City Commission approved funding in the Capital Improvement Program to renovate Windmill Park during year 2017-2018. Amenities that have been permitted in this renovation project include but are not limited to: renovations to existing tennis, volleyball, basketball and racquetball courts, improvements to the dog park, themed playground, additional parking, and a fitness walking trail with exercise equipment throughout the park. The trail shows how Coconut Creek looked before development. The 1,005 foot long boardwalk winds through cypress trees and over ground covered with giant ferns, smaller wood ferns and other plant life.
