Thank you for choosing Collins Tours. -Sincerely, Greg Collins, President Day 1 Friday April 21st Fly from Maritimes to New Orleans Depart the Maritimes on your scheduled flight, (see flight details included in this mailing) en route to Toronto where you will meet your tour manager. The group will clear Customs in Toronto before boarding Air Canada flight for New Orleans, scheduled to depart Toronto at TBA (airfare included; bag fees are your expense). PLEASE NOTE: All passengers are required to pay $26.25 for 1 st checked piece of luggage (up to maximum of 50 lbs and 158 cm); second checked bag is $36.75 per person. Carry-on luggage is free, up to max. of 22 lbs per bag. Additional fees apply for overweight bags. Visit www.aircanada.com for more details. Any luggage fees are paid directly to Air Canada. Fees are charged on BOTH outbound & return flights. Once we have collected our bags in New Orleans, we board our coach for transfer to our hotel from the Airport (Transfer fee included). We then continue on to our hotel in New Orleans, arriving at approximately time TBA (transfers from airport to hotel included). Day 2 Saturday April 22 nd New Orleans Enjoy a hot breakfast (included) this morning. Please enjoy our insightful ½ day guided city tour of New Orleans (included) where you can see the most iconic attractions. There will be a group dinner tonight at our local restaurant this evening (time TBA) where you can chat with your fellow passengers before we set sail. Day 3 Sunday April 23 rd New Orleans Embark on NCL Dawn Enjoy another hot breakfast this morning (included) before we check into the NCL Dawn. Your luggage will be whisked away to your stateroom as your sea adventure begins. Don t forget to head out on deck or find a great location to wave Bon Voyage as you sail from New Orleans, approximate departure time 4:00pm. Time to explore all the Norwegian Dawn and Freestyle Cruising has to offer, including 14 delicious dining options, 12 fun bars and lounges, a fitness center, spa, casino and more! Dinner and the rest of the evening are on your own. Enjoy 6 complimentary dining options, ranging from three-course meals to endless buffets! Day 4 Monday April 24th - At Sea Meet your group at designated area (TBA from Tour Director) for our private group cocktail reception followed by a group dinner (Included). Day 5 - Tuesday April 25 th Cozumel, Mexico The Norwegian Dawn takes you to Mexico`s largest island in the Caribbean Sea. At 8:00 a.m. you will arrive in Cozumel, home to Mayan ruins and bargain shopping in the main square of its largest town, San Miguel. Water-based activities abound in the place once frequented by Jacques Cousteau. Be sure to enjoy your day to the fullest and be mindful of your 5:00 p.m. sailing. Day 6 Wednesday April 26th- Roatan Bay Islands, Honduras The ship is set to arrive in Honduras at 7:00 a.m. Roatan is one of the largest Bay Islands, located 30 miles north of Honduras and is only 40 miles long and 2.5 miles at the longest point. Explore the many pristine beaches and world class diving that Roatan has to offer located on the second largest barrier reef system. Time to bid farewell to Honduras and enjoy another evening on the Caribbean Sea. Please note the ship departs at 3:00pm today. 2
Day 7 Thursday April 27- At Sea Enjoy another day at sea. Perhaps a spa treatment or a chance to try your luck in the casino is on today s agenda? Relax in the Caribbean evening breeze as you sail toward Columbia. Refer to the ship s itinerary for daily events and how to make the most of your vacation Day 8 Friday April 28th Cartagena, Columbia The ship is set to arrive in Cartagena at 10:00 a.m. Cartagena is widely known for its 6.8 miles of wall built around it by the Spanish. It was declared a UNESCO world heritage site in 1984. There will be a private Collins Tours Excursion for our guests. Please ensure you are back on board as we depart Cartagena at 6:00pm. Day 9 Saturday April 29th At Sea Refer to the ship s itinerary for daily events and how to make the most of your vacation Explore all that the Dawn has to offer while we sail towards San Juan. Day 10 Sunday April 30th San Juan, Puerto Rico The ship is set to arrive in San Juan at 10:00 a.m. Disembark quickly in this historic port. As Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory no customs clearance is required today. There will be a private Collins Tours Excursion for our guests. Plenty of shopping opportunities also await you in San Juan! Please be back aboard the ship before the posted ship time. We will be setting sail at 6:00pm. Time to bid farewell to San Juan and enjoy another evening on the Caribbean Sea. Day 11 Monday May 1st Tortola, British Virgin Islands The ship is set to arrive in Tortola at 8:00am. Tortola is known for its powdery white beaches and lush green mountains. There will be a private Collins Tours Excursion for our guests. The ship is set to depart Tortola at 5:00pm. Day 12th, 13th, and 14th - Tuesday May 2 nd, Wednesday May 3 rd and Thursday May 4th At Sea Refer to the ship s itinerary for daily events and how to make the most of your vacation. This would be an ideal time to check out one of the ship s specialty restaurants (Japanese, French, Tappanyaki themes; please note extra charges apply. You can also enjoy the Second City Comedy Group and Broadway style shows. Soak up the last few days of sunshine and tropical breezes as we sail towards Boston Harbour. 3
Day 15 Friday May 5 th Boston (Disembark) Ship sails back into Boston Harbour, docking at approx. 8:00 a.m. This morning, after you meet your tour leader (time and location TBA), we will disembark at 9:00am, board our private motorcoach and bid farewell to the Dawn. Today s highlight is our 3 hour professionally guided tour of Boston. Tour highlights include Old Boston, the Public Library, Boston Commons, State Building, a drive through Cambridge, the home of Harvard University, City hall and much more! We will end the tour at Quincy Marketplace where you purchase lunch (on own). Arrive at our hotel by approximately time TBA. Signature check in service included another perk of traveling with Collins Tours. Day 16 Saturday May 6 th - Boston Please be back on board the coach by time TBA for the last leg of our journey. We estimate a time TBA arrival back at our hotel (no charge for hotel upgrade). Day 17 Sunday May 7 th - Boston to Augusta, Maine Enjoy your hot breakfast this morning at our hotel. Be sure to eat and check out of your room before boarding the coach in time for our 10:00am. departure. After breakfast, board the coach time TBA. for our short trip to Freeport Maine for some fabulous outlet shopping. Arrive in Freeport at approximately 12:30pm and take time to shop for any last minute purchases or enjoy this quaint town! We will be in Freeport for roughly 3 hours for shopping and lunch (your expense) Please be back on board the coach time TBA for the last leg of our journey. Crossing the border with Prescription Medication: All prescription medication needs to be clearly labeled and on board the coach with the client (not inside suitcase) in order for Customs and Immigration to clear it. In Maine you will be staying at our hotel. Please note passengers are preregistered with U.S. Customs and Immigration prior to embarkation in New Orleans. Expect 30-45 min. time line for disembarking the ship. The Disembarkation process will take place at a location TBA on board the ship. Please note final details will be provided on board. Please ensure NCL luggage tags are used as well as Collins Tours Luggage tags as each of these will provide the necessary details for the duration of the tour. Norwegian Dawn guests can be contacted from Canada by calling Ph., 732-335-3280. When guests are contacted with the ship via satellite, they can be reached directly, if they are in their stateroom. If not, a message will be delivered to their stateroom. Duty Free Rules allow you to claim $800 per person when you are out of the country for at least 48 hours. Please remove all personal belongings when departing the bus, as we are not responsible for items that are left behind. REMEMBER: Your tour manager handles: hotel check in/checkout procedures, overall group management (e.g. timely transitions, itinerary planning), and group representation at events, hotels, Broadway, Customs and Immigration, and overall operation of each tour.
