Estimated Airframe Time JETNET Evolution provides the ability to display an Estimated Airframe Hours for a given aircraft based on FAA Flight Activity.
Where Does Estimated Airframe Time Data Come From? JETNET research staff verify the airframe time hours on an aircraft and record the date verified. The Estimated Airframe Time is calculated by selecting and summarizing the flight time of all flights for the aircraft since the date last verified. Note, that if the aircraft hours have never been verified, then all flight hours available are used. In using these estimates, it is important to consider the following: JETNET receives flight data directly from multiple independent sources. Flight data may or may not be up-to-date. Where possible, the latest date of the data is displayed. Flight data is reported to JETNET clients through Evolution and Marketplace Manager products for use as is. JETNET is not responsible for any errors or omissions in the summarization or presentation of flight activity data For commercial flights only, JETNET adds a total of 12 minutes (6 minutes for both departure and arrival) as an industry standard to each commercial flight time to compensate for startup, taxi and takeoff.
Where Can I Find Estimated Airframe Times? Estimated Airframe Times are displayed in a variety of locations in the new version of Evolution. Several locations are outlined below. Aircraft Listings After completing an aircraft search and viewing search results, the estimated airframe times are displaying in listings next to the Airframe Total Time (AFTT) there is a field for the Est AFTT Aircraft Details Page On the Airframe tab on the aircraft details page, we display the estimated airframe hours based on flights that took place after the last verified AFTT. Flight Activity Page For each aircraft in a listing users can click on the black airplane icon to display flight activity for that aircraft as well as any estimated airframe times. Searching Aircraft by Estimated Airframe Hours From the Aircraft Search page on the Airframe/Engines tab, users can search either the Airframe Total Time or the Estimated Airframe Time.
Aircraft Listings After searching for aircraft, aircraft results can either be displayed in a listing view or a gallery style view (showing pictures). The display below shows where estimated airframe hours values are displayed in search results. Estimated Airframe Time
Aircraft Details Page Airframe The airframe tab displays current reported airframe hours as well as additional airframe hours as identified by flight activity for the aircraft since the date that hours on the aircraft were last verified.
Aircraft Flight Activity Page From an aircraft search results list, you can click on the blue airplane icon to see flight data (if available) for the aircraft selected. The Flight Activity page will display a map of recent flight, top origins/destinations, airframe estimates, and utilization (profile of average flights per month). The Airframe Estimates tab is where all data pertaining to estimate airframe times will be displayed.
Searching for Aircraft by Estimated Airframe Hours From the Aircraft Search page on the Airframe/Engines tab, users can search on either the Airframe Total Time or the Estimated Airframe Time. Typically users would use the drop down to select great. Estimated Airframe Time
