Horse & Carriage (Caleche) ride in Marrakech From the famous Jemaa el Fna square take a scenic Caleche (horse and carriage ride) to view the walls and squares of the Medina in relaxed comfort. Marrakech Most of the city s unmissable sights are found within the city walls where mud brick homes nestle alongside classic French colonial buildings, and today you will visit the Koutoubia Mosque, sumptuous Bahia Place and the Merdersa Ben Youssef, which is a jewel of Moroccan architecture. After lunch in a Medina palace you will then take a walk through the artisan souks, watching craftsman work as they have done for hundreds of years, before finishing in the bustling Jemaa el Fna square. Majorelle Gardens Visit to the painter Jacque Majorelle s famous garden laid out in 1931 with exotic plant life, bougainvillea, cactus and ornate fountains. He painted the walls of his art deco villa a vibrant ultramarine to match the Marrakech skies. Today the property now belongs to Yves Saint Laurent and houses a museum of Islamic art. Kasbah Agadir

The hilltop kasbah of Agadir is visible from much of the city, The views of the port, marina and Agadir are fantastic. Built in 1541 and restored in the 1740s, the kasbah once provided housing for nearly 300 people. All that remains is the outer wall, though traces of the dwellings can still be made out. The inscription over the entry arch in Dutch and Arabic ( Believe in God and respect the King ) is a reminder of the beginning of trade with the Low Countries. Ouzoud Falls Ouzoud Falls are the highest falls in North Africa. Ouzoud means olive in the Berber language of Morocco, so it s no surprise the plateau above the falls is draped with thousands of olive trees. The ground below is brick-red because of iron oxides in the soil. Follow a short path to see the magnificent tableau of six different waterfalls cascading down the cliff-side. Keep your camera handy for one photo opportunity after another. If you re lucky, you may glimpse a macaque monkey nearby. In the afternoon sun, you may see a gorgeous rainbow over the falls!
