ITINERARY Day 1 Arrival in Cape Town Upon arrival at Cape Town International airport you will be met by an English speaking guide who will hand over your travel documentation and vouchers. An English speaking driver will be waiting to transfer you to De Waterkant House (Approx. 20km) This Cape Georgian manor house is situated in the heart of the historical De Waterkant Village. The guest house offers free Wi-Fi in the guest lounge and overlooks Table Bay Harbour and the Stellenbosch Mountains. De Waterkant includes an outdoor swimming pool.the terrace offers panoramic views of the village. De Waterkant House is centrally located, less than a 5-minute drive from the Cape Quarter Shopping Centre and the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. Restaurants, bars and fashionable nightspots are to be found in the immediate surroundings. Day 2 CAPE TOWN THE MOTHER CITY An English speaking guide will collect you from the hotel this morning at approximately 07:45am for the scheduled AM Cape Town City tour. Tour takes you through Table Mountain (excludes entrance fees) or Signal Hill - both are weather permitting, scenic coastal drives through Clifton and Sea Point, Greenmarket Square, Malay Quarter, walk through Company Gardens, City Hall and Parliament, firing of noon gun - except Sundays and Public Holidays.
Day 3 CAPE TOWN THE MOTHER CITY An English speaking guide will collect you from the hotel this morning at approximately 08:30 for the scheduled full day Cape point tour inclusive of lunch (drinks Depart via Clifton, Camps Bay and arrive at Hout Bay for a cruise to Seal Island, then proceed to Constantia and Kirstenbosch Gardens for a visit to this world famous botanical gardens. After you walk, we proceed to Kalk Bay for optional stop for lunch. In the afternoon we proceed to Boulders Beach and visit to the penguins before heading out to Cape Point Nature Reserve. Return to your hotel approximately 17h30-18h00. Day 4 CAPE TOWN - MPUMALANGA After breakfast an English speaking driver will collect you from the hotel for your transfer to Cape Town International airport. Day 6 WHITERIVER SAFARI! BALULE NATURE RESERVE After breakfast an English speaking driver will collect you from the guest house for your transfer to Sausage Tree Safari Camp in the Balule Nature reserve (Approx. 160km) Set in the Balule Nature Reserve, Sausage Tree Safari Camp promises rich game viewing and spectacular views, as our boundary with Kruger National Park is open and the Northern Drakensberg Mountains form a majestic backdrop. BALULE NATURE RESERVE Day at leisure dedicated to activities at Sausage Tree Safari camp. Each morning and late afternoon, an experienced and professional guide will take you on a safari game drive through thick bush and along open plains in search of the Big Five (elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion and leopard) as well as general game species such as giraffe, zebra, warthog, kudu and impala. During the drives there is a lot of emphasis on giving information on everything that is encountered whether your interest is birding, insects, plants and trees, your guide will happily share his knowledge with you! Breakfast and lunch is served on an open deck with views of the bush and a water hole frequented by a variety of resident animals.
Dinner is mostly served under the stars, in front of the fire in the boma. The camp has a lounge for those lazy siesta s, and a cosy bar complete with a variety of first class South African wines.
