ABOUT THE FESTIVAL CHARLESTON OUTDOOR FESTIVAL APRIL 21-22, 2018 EAST COAST SYMPOSIUM APRIL 20-22, 2018 The Charleston Outdoor Festival showcases something for every outdoor enthusiast: kayaking, canoeing, stand up paddleboarding, slack lining, archery, disc golf, mountain biking, climbing, trail running, camping, adaptive programs tailored to individuals with disabilities, and so much more! Participants experiencing this event are new to outdoor pursuits and looking to find entry through contacts with vendors and manufactures. The East Coast Symposium is the heart of the event and brings in many of the leading experts in the paddling world to promote and support paddlesports education from the beginner to the expert enthusiast. While many of these participants will take advantage of on water classes on the Charleston waterways and the lake at James Island County Park, they will still have plenty of opportunities to peruse the exhibit area to shop and demo equipment. For over 27 years, the festival has grown in popularity and provided a positive venue to showcase Charleston and outdoor pursuits. 2017 At A Glance: 5,000 + overall county park gate attendance for the three days 1,561 registered people 1,202 first time users participated in the Try It activities

At the festival, you will be in front of thousands of consumers who will have access to your paddlesports, biking, climbing and other outdoor related accessories. Below details the vendor opportunities during the festival: Paddlesports and Outdoor Vendor Retail Area: Hours Saturday, April 21, from 9am-5pm Sunday, April 22, from 9am 4pm Exhibit Sites The exhibit area has paved walking trails allowing participants easy access to all exhibit sites. Minimum size of a single exhibit site is 35 x 14. -Waterfront (between trail and lake, includes 1 table and 2 chairs & 2 staff registrations): $365 on or before February 15 $395 after February 16 -Trail-front (between trail and road, includes 1 table and 2 chairs & 2 staff registrations): $325 on or before February 15 $355 after February 16 optional items: 10X10 tent $220 (with side walls add $90) 20x20 tent $320 (with side walls add $180) The festival is registered with the state of South Carolina as a Special Event.
