Travelling By train Federal Railways (CFF): http://www.sbb.ch/en/home.html. Geneva's central train station is called Gare Cornavin. Many buses and tramways are available to and from there. It is also connected to Geneva Airport (7min journey). From the station, the festival places are reachable by feet. By plane Genève Aéroport: http://www.gva.ch/en/desktopdefault.aspx. Geneva airport is located 4 kilometers from the city center and easily reachable by public transport (train / bus) or by taxi. Free Ticket (from Geneva Airport only): On arrival to Geneva by plane you can claim a free Unireso ticket for 80 minutes for public transport in Zone 10 Tout Geneve. The ticket machine for free tickets is located at the baggage reclaim hall just before exiting. This ticket is valid for the Geneva public transport (TPG), as well as for the train from Geneva Airport to Geneva Gare Cornavin (Central train station). All trains from Geneva Airport go directly to Gare Cornavin in 7 min (see travelling by train). Regular Ticket (to and from Geneva Airport): You can use a single UNIRESO Zone 10 ticket to get to/from the Airport by bus (TPG) or train (CFF). Ticket costs for a 60 minute journey is CHF 3.00, as Geneva Airport still belongs to Zone 10. Geneva Public Transportation (TPG) Tramways and Buses: http://www.tpg.ch/en/web/site-international Thanks to its modest size, Geneva is an easy-to-walk city. Yet, if you have been hopping and shaking around so much that your legs won't carry you anymore you can always buy a three stops ticket ("saut de puce") or a one-hour ticket for TPG tramway and bus service. NB: UNIRESO is the united network of Geneva public transport (TPG), Federal Railways (CFF) and Boat transport (SBB) and thus you can use the ticket for bus, train, tramway or boat.
