PROGRAM: 12/05 Cordoba - Puerto Iguazu: 1 Departure at 10 AM from Bus Station of Cordoba to the city of Puerto Iguazu, making a technical stop in San Francisco for lunch. Dinner and overnight on board. 13/05 Puerto Iguazú: 2 Breakfast. Visit to Wanda Mines, an important outdoor mining complex where we can buy semiprecious stones at very economic prices. Lunch. Arrival to Puerto Iguazu in the afternoon. Accommodation at the hotel and free afternoon to enjoy the parks of the hotel. Dinner. 14/05 Puerto Iguazu: 3 Full day excursion with lunch included, to the Argentinean side, where you can see the waterfalls in a more intense way since the walkways and paths are a few meters from the great waterfalls (Optional Gran Aventura). Approximately at 17:00 hs we cross the city of Puerto Iguazú until reaching the three borders milestone (place where the river Iguazú is divided and you can appreciate the coasts of the countries of Brazil and Paraguay from the same site). We will have extra time to purchase in the artisan walk from that place. Dinner.
15/05 Puerto Iguazú: 4 Departure from the hotel in the morning to Moconá Provincial Park. The Moconá Provincial Park is located within the Yabotí Biosphere Reserve, in the eastern central region of Misiones, occupying an area of approximately 253,773 hectares. In the heart of the park, the Moconá Falls form a unique spectacle in the world, due to a geological fault on the Uruguay River. Back to hotel. Dinner. 16/05 Puerto Iguazú - Tilcara: 5 Departure from Puerto Iguazú during the morning towards to Tilcara, making a stop for lunch in San Ignacio. Dinner in Resistencia. Overnight on board. 17/05 Tilcara: 6 Arrival to Tilcara during the midday. Lunch and accomodation. During the afternoon we will visit the famous Pucará de Tilcara and we will tour this picturesque town in the northern Argentina, where we can appreciate and enjoy and customs of the native people. Dinner included in the Hotel. 18/05 Tilcara - Salta: 7 During the morning departure to the amazing Salinas Grandes (the second largest in the world) crossing the fabulous "Cuesta de Lipan". After this tour, we descend to the Quebrada de Humahuaca and we go on a visit to the intriguing town of Purmamarca, where the famous "Cerro de los Siete Colores" is. There will also be free time to tour and visit the craft markets, then lunch in the town. In the afternoon, descent to San Salvador de Jujuy and then Salta. Accommodation and dinner. 19/05 Salta: 8 During morning, City Tour through the historical centre of the city of Salta, visiting the Church of San Francisco, the Cabildo, Cathedral Basilica, Guemes Monument and craft market. Lunch at folkloric Peña enjoying a traditional show. In the afternoon, ascent to Cerro San Bernardo to enjoy a spectacular view of the city as well as the Valle de Lerma. Downhill walking, and free time to explore the old historical downtown. Return to the hotel and dinner.
20/05 Salta - Cafayate - Talampaya: 9 Departure during the morning from Salta through the famous "Quebrada de las Conchas" River, stopping in several viewpoints ( El Obelisco, La Yesera, El Sapo, the Amphitheatre, etc.). Arrival to Cafayate, and visit to a traditional winery. Lunch. In the afternoon we continue the trip by visiting the Museum of Pachamama, in the village of Amaicha del Valle. Then we cross the Abra del Infiernillo to get to Tafi del Valle and descend through the Cuesta de los Sosa to the flatness of the land of Tucuman. Overnight on board. 21/05 Talampaya - Valle de la Luna - Valle Fértil: 10 Arrival in the morning to the Talampaya National Park. Breakfast. Excursion in special vans equipped for the type of roads in that place. We travel by the old riverbed of the Talampaya River better known as the Talampaya Canyon, making stops at various interesting places such as the Garganta, Paredon, El Jardín Botánico, El Monje and the Cathedral. In addition, it will be possible to observe the erosion that the place has suffered because of the old river and other agents such as the wind and the temperature. Lunch in the park. Later on, we will leave for Valle de la Luna. Arrival and tour the interior of the park for approximately 3 hours, visiting the famous Bochas and Mushroom court. Arrival in the evening hours to Valle Fertile. Accomodation and dinner. 22/05 Valle Fértil - Mendoza: 11 After breakfast we leave the hotel heading to Mendoza. Lunch on board. Arrival to Mendoza during the afternoon. Accomodation. Dinner included. 23/05 Mendoza: 12 City Tour around this beautiful city, visiting the old town, the mall, and the magnificent Parque San Martin. Lunch included. If weather conditions are suitable, we will climb to Cerro de la Gloria, visit a winery and then return to the hotel. Dinner included. 24/05 Mendoza - Alta Montaña - Buenos Aires: 13 Full day excursion to the Andes, starting the tour from Chacras de Coria Area, Potrerillos, Cordón del Plata Viewpoint and Uspallata, to continue along the Mendoza river, passing through historical places such as Polvaredas, Picheuta and the Ski resort Los Penitentes. Lunch included. Border town Las Cuevas, appreciating on the way the imposing Aconcagua Hill. Then, we descend to Puente del Inca where we stop to have a panoramic view of the ruins of the old thermal hotel. Return to Mendoza, dinner on board included and departure to Buenos Aires.
25/05 B 14 uenos Aires. Arrival to Buenos Aires during morning. Accommodation at Hotel. During the afternoon, City Tour around the city visiting the Casa Rosada, Cathedral and Congress, then we continue to La Boca to know the picturesque Caminito and Boca Juniors Stadium, back toward the downtown, we will cross Puerto Madero to finish the tour, knowing know the Forests of Palermo. Return to hotel in the afternoon. During the night, optional tango show, or dinner at hotel. 26/05 B 15 uenos Aires. Departure during morning to "El Tigre" to take a Catamaran and start sailing the Delta where we get to know the Sarmiento Museum, and historical down town of El Tigre. Lunch included. At afternoon, visit to Parque de la Costa where we will have different activities. Return to hotel in the evening hours. Dinner in Buenos Aires. 27/05 B 16 uenos Aires / Córdoba. Departure during morning to Cordoba, arrival in afternoon hours.
