IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Only reserva ons made through BCD via email will be paid for by MetLife. It is suggested to use major credit cards for purchases and the payment of your hotel incidental charges during the conference. Important: It is not recommended to use a bank debit card to guarantee your incidentals when you check in because there will be an automatic hold on your personal finances. You should inform your credit card company of your travel to the U.S. prior to leaving home as many banks will not permit overseas transac ons unless they are informed in advance of your plans to be abroad. Electricity Standard electricity in the USA is 100 V and requires a Type A or B plug as shown below. Expenses Travel expenses will be covered centrally by GTO in New York. Every a endee is assigned their own room at the Lo e New York Palace. The following expenses will be covered centrally by GTO in New York: Hotel room and tax at the Lo e New York Palace (April 2 3 for all non U.S. associates; April 3 for U.S. associates based outside of the Greater New York area) Flights for all non U.S. associates and U.S. associates based outside of the Greater New York area booked through BCD Travel via email via the process outlined in this registra on guide and on the registra on website The following expenses will be your responsibility: Travel expenses (mileage, etc.) Pre/Post overnight accommoda ons: check in prior to April 2 (All non U.S. Associates)/April 3 (U.S. Associates based outside of the Greater New York area) and check out a er April 4 Checked luggage and/or overweight luggage charges Incidental charges at the hotel Meals, except for dinner on April 3 Any expenses related to visa applica ons Ground Transportation MetLife will not arrange for transporta on to and from the airport. The average high temperature in April is 60 degrees Fahrenheit / 16 degrees Celsius and the average low temperature is 45 degrees Fahrenheit / 7 degrees Celsius.
