New York City Bus Trip May 3 rd The bus will leave the Yankee Trails bus depot in Rensselaer at 6:30 a.m. and the Crossgates Commons parking lot behind Wal-Mart for a 7 a.m. departure. Note: The bus will drop passengers off at Bryant Park. The bus will depart New York City at 7 p.m. and return to Crossgates Commons. Trail Walk and Tour of BASF s Urban Nature Center May 9 th Proceed south on Rt. 4, heading toward East Greenbush. At the intersection between the Target and Walmart Plazas, turn right onto Third Avenue Extension. Continue down Third Avenue Extension, passing through 4 traffic lights. At the 5 th traffic light, turn left onto Broadway (if you continue straight you will go over the bridge into Albany). Pass through 2 traffic lights, Broadway becomes Riverside Avenue on the other side of the intersection with Routes 9 & 20 (Columbia Turnpike). Fort Crailo will be on your left just past the first stop sign. Continue straight after the second stop sign and look for a small, white BASF sign. Follow the lighthouse trail. Go 0.5 miles. The lighthouse can be reached via a half-mile nature trail of dirt and rock paths with wooden bridges and boardwalks and sandy trails.
