Facilities The ACSA owns and maintains the two facilities at the Operations Center on Spotnap Road as well as a facility in Crozet and one rental property at 171 Spotnap Road.

Pump Stations, Tanks & PRVs The ACSA owns and maintains 11 water pump stations to pump water through our lines, 13 sewer pump stations to pump the wastewater to the treatment plant and 8 water storage tanks to ensure our customers always have water.

Water Storage Tanks (ACSA) The ACSA owns and maintains 8 water storage tanks: Ashcroft Lower Tank: 10,000 gallons Ashcroft Upper Tank: 158,000 gallons Mosby Mountain Tank: 160,000 gallons Scottsville Tank: 300,000 gallons Red Hill Well Tank: 5,000 gallons Mill Creek Tank: 250,000 gallons Northfields Tank: 10,000 gallons Ednam Tank: 250,000 gallons These tanks are used in the gravityfed portions of our system which are supplied and replenished by our pump stations. Emergency Preparedness This pump is a recent investment to be used in place of a pump station in case of a loss of a water pump station. We have purchased two of these bypass pumps to be used at our sewer pump stations in an emergency.

Service Contracts
Service Contracts We maintain the Service Contracts to the right. When the contracts are up for renewal/expiration, we work with the Finance Department to send out Request for Proposals and to obtain the necessary documentation to award contracts to contractors specialized to provide the required services. During the term of the contract, we schedule and oversee the service maintenance of each contract.
