Drop your bags at your hotel and follow your Forum Tour Manager on a stroll through Old Madrid. Explore the narrow 16th and 17th century streets surrounding the Plaza Mayor, said to be the most elegant square on the European continent. Walk by Puerta del Sol, the official center of Spain, from where the distances of all other cities are measured. Then, meet your local guide and enter the Museo Del Prado, one of the top three museums in the world. Admire its collection of Spanish paintings. See masterpieces by Goya and Velazquez, including Las Meninas. Free time for lunch in one of Madrid s most beautiful parks: El Retiro. This afternoon, get ready to visit the Royal Palace, an immense 18th century palace recognized as one of the most beautiful palaces in Europe. For your farewell evening meal, enjoy a Flamenco dinner show! Overnight accommodation in Madrid. DAY 9: DEPART (Sunday) After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
