Golden Mountain - For Camp Hua Hin, Sing Buri & Chiang Mai Wat Saket, also known as the Golden Mountain or Phu Khao Thong, is a low hill crowned with a gleaming gold chedi. In the 58-metre chedi houses is a Buddha relic and to get to the top you need to climb 300 steps. A fair climb but worth it for panoramic views of Bangkok! Loha Prasart Also called the & Metal Castle, Loha Prasat is located in the grounds of Wat Ratchanaddaram and was even submitted to UNESCO in 2005 to become a world heritage site, highlighting the historical importance of the temple. However this title hasn t yet been given. Khao San Road Market The last stop and finishing point on the day tour will be the Khao San markets. Bustling with tourists and souvenirs, get your bartering skills ready! Evening Tour Evening Meal & Rooftop Drinks No trip to Bangkok is complete without a trip to one of it s famous rooftop bars. Leave your accommodation in the very early am to travel to Siem Reap, arriving around midday (traffic depending). Spend the afternoon topping up your tan by your very own swimming pool! In the evening head to a restaurant for a Cambodian Buffet Meal and Cultural Dancing Show, before heading to the night market. Siem Reap is famous for it s night markets, so if you were planning on buying souvenirs, this is the place to do it! Day 2: Angkor Wat & Tuk Tuk Tour! Time to wake up early, but don t worry, we promise it s worth it! At 4am you ll be leaving for the Angkor Wat Sunrise! Early but 100% worth it for the view! This is the largest religious site in the world, a Unesco World Heritage site and one of the Wonders of the World! After your tour guide will lead you around Angkor Thom. After seeing the hotspots of Angkor Wat jump back in your Tuk Tuk Tour for a tour around Siem Reap. Vitis the local Silk Village, Killing Fields and the Place Of The Monk. Later that evening dance the night away on our incredible Pub Crawl along the infamous, Pub Street. Day 3 : Waterfall Trip Head to Phnom Kulen National Park. This beautiful mountain range is considered a holy mountain in Cambodia, with special religious significance to Hindus and Buddhists who come to the mountain in pilgrimage. Take a dip in what will probably be the largest waterfall you ve ever seen! After an incredible day exploring head out to Pub Street for a club night Rooftop Party! Day 4: Departure Transfer to the border and re enter Thailand before heading straight to your Mini Break location. Accommodation Info You will stay in basic guest house style accommodation, with access to a bathroom, showers, Wifi and a swimming pool. Currency in Cambodia USD $ VISA You can purchase a visa on arrival at the Cambodian border. You will need a passport valid for more than 6 months and a spare passport photo. If you are a UK citizen you will be granted another tourist visa on re entry to Thailand. If you hold a passport from another country please check your status to ensure you are able to enter Cambodia and be reissued another tourist visa in Thailand. If you need any advice with this please get in touch. It is your responsibility to ensure you check your visa status and are able to obtain a visa. Please Note The Cambodia tour will start on your 14th day of Camp (for Real Thai) & 13th day (for Camp Hua Hin). Both Camps will join for the tour once you arrive in Siem Reap, time to make more friends!! On the last day of tour you will wake up very early to head back to your Camp locations and departing for your mini break adventure. Something to Consider Please bare in mind that South East Asia is a very big place! To get to Siem Reap could take around 8-12 hours depending on traffic, which is why on the way you travel at night time so you can sleep. Cambodia is an incredible country and the Cambodian Adventure has always been considered a highlight by all of our customers. However, if you get travel sick this may not be for you. We love it and would do the journey twice over to partake, but we understand if it s not everyone s cup of tea. The good thing is, you re all together, so get those songs cranking. Day 4 - Island Boat Trip Hop aboard a boat for the day where we get to visit the best snorkelling spots around Koh Phangan. We even get to stop of at a local waterfall (seasonal). Tunes are blaring and a light lunch is provided. Day 5 - Head to Koh Tao Check out in the morning and head to Koh Tao. Once you ve arrived, enjoy a free day by pool and top up that tan! That evening dance the night away on Koh Tao s famous bar crawl! Day 6 - Koh Nangyuan Day Trip Voted one of the most picturesque islands in the world! Koh Nangyuan located just off the coast of Koh Tao is 3 islands connected by white sandy beaches. Your Camp Thailand Rep will escort you to the bus station/ferry port for your onward travel. Who will be running the trip? We have partnered with TruTravels who specialise in backpacker trips in Thailand and they have created an itinerary just for us! Where does it start? Your island hopping adventure begins when you arrive at the pier to get the boat the the islands. That is when you will be greeted by a member of the TruTravels team who will be your guide for the duration of your trip. Do I need any special travel insurance to cover me for activities? Standard travel insurance is fine.
