Benvenuto... to Manchester Central Manchester Central is the new name for the Manchester International Convention Centre and GMEX, a combination of conference and exhibition facilities that form a unique convention complex right in the heart of one of the UK s most dynamic and exciting cities. Manchester Central Convention Complex is focussed around what was once the city s historic central railway station, a feature of the Manchester cityscape since 1876 and now reinvented as a distinctive and flexible venue for exhibitions and conferences. A linked purposebuilt convention auditorium and exhibition hall were opened in 2001, expanding the facilities to create one of the foremost convention complexes in the UK. Manchester Central has an enviable track record of hosting a wide range of events, from intimate corporate meetings to large-scale, high profile international conferences and exhibitions. From political and association conferences to testimonial dinners, trade shows and corporate meetings, Manchester Central is the venue that can meet all your event requirements in a unique city centre location.

Manchester Central provides conference & exhibition organisers with unrivalled flexibility of space and quality of service Manchester Central offers two exhibition halls, a purpose-built convention auditorium, plus a suite of corporate facilities and breakout rooms, all interconnected on a compact and easily accessible city centre site. Central Hall The main exhibition space, Central Hall, provides a single column-free area that can be used for conventional exhibition layouts or for more unusual installations that utilise the height and character of the interior. It can also be subdivided into two smaller halls, each with organiser s offices, a dedicated entrance and cloakroom, plus restaurant and bar facilities. The ceiling height and scale of the hall also allows it to be used simultaneously to provide exhibition space plus a seated auditorium for up to 4000 delegates. Exchange Auditorium and Exchange Hall The 800-seat purpose built Exchange Auditorium provides state-of-the-art facilities capable of meeting the most sophisticated audio-visual requirements and the adjacent exhibition space, Exchange Hall, can be used for everything from trade exhibitions and event hospitality to conference seating and large-scale banqueting. The light and expansive foyers conveniently connect to a range of conference break-out rooms and a suite of organisers offices. Break-out rooms The Charter Suite and Exchange Auditorium break-out rooms can be also be used individually or in combination to provide flexible solutions for smaller, more intimate corporate events.
