Click on the link below for room options, pricing and availability. Resort Online Reservations Room rates are guaranteed at the conference rate until October 4, 2009. Reservations received after this date will be taken on a space available basis at the current room rates. A valid credit card is required at the time of booking to secure reservation. First night's room rate, plus taxes and resort fee is charged at the time of the booking. Boyne accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Boyne does not accept debit cards or check cards. Cancellation/Refund Policy: Cancellations outside of 7 days will be refunded the deposit, minus a $10 processing fee. Cancellations inside of 7 days in are not refundable. Guests staying in the Mountain Grand Lodge enjoy complimentary access to both the strength/cardio fitness room and indoor/outdoor pool from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm. Hotel room key provides access to the facilities. Guests staying at the Clock Tower Lodge or the Edelweiss Lodge enjoy complimentary access to the smaller fitness room and outdoor pool at the Clock Tower Lodge. Page 2 of 6 RESORT Q: Where do I check-in and check-out of the resort? A: All conference guests check-in and check-out at the Mountain Grand Lodge Front Desk. Q: What time is check-in? A: Clock Tower Lodge and Edelweiss Lodge check-in is 5:00 pm. Mountain Grand Lodge check-in is 6:00 pm. Q: What time is check-out? A: Clock Tower Lodge and Edelweiss Lodge check-out is 1:00 pm. Mountain Grand Lodge check-out is 1:00 pm. Q: Why is check-in so late? A: Some units at Boyne Mountain Resort are privately owned and by contract owners have the option of late check-out. Q. Can early check-in be requested? A. Yes, conference guests can request early check-in, but unfortunately it cannot be guaranteed by the resort. Q: Is wireless Internet access available? A: Guests can enjoy complimentary high-speed wireless connection in most common areas and most hotel rooms. Q: What is there to do at the resort? A: Lots! See for yourself. Q: Should I bring my family with me to the conference? A: Boyne Mountain Resort is family friendly. See for yourself. Q: Will the Avalanche Bay Waterpark be open during the conference? MACRAO has contracted with the resort to provide the most reasonable rates in the area. In addition, it is the most convenient and accessible resort to all conference activities. A: If you would like to submit a session or workshop for consideration, please contact Debbie Harju at dlharju@umich.edu. Q: I'm participating in Thursday Morning's 1/2 Day Workshop. How do I complete my Passion Profiler Assessment. A: To get the MOST out of Alaina Love's Thursday Morning Workshop, you are being asked to take The Passion Profiler which will only take 30-40 minutes of your time. Alaina Love will contact conference/workshop registrants beginning in September and will provide instructions on how to complete The Passion Profiler online. Q: How far is the Civic Center from the Mountain Grand Lodge, Clock Tower Lodge, Edelweiss Lodge? Should I wear a coat? A: The distance from the lodges to the Civic Center is not very far. If you choose to wear your coat, coat racks will be available in the Civic Center for your use. MACRAO will not be responsible for any lost or missing items. Q: Am I required to participate in Wednesday night's and Thursday night's group activities? A: Participation is not required for any of these activities; however, participation is encouraged to promote networking and teambuilding opportunities. Q: Where do I drop off my book donations for Wednesday Night's Library - Reading Room? A: Drop off books at the Conference Registration/Hospitality Station located in the West Lobby of the Civic Center. Q: I brought a guest with me to the conference. Can he/she participate in Wednesday's and Thursday's group activities with me? A: Absolutely. We hope everyone will join in on the fun. Q: How will teams for the Scavenger Hunt be assembled? A: Team signup sheets will be posted at the Conference Registration/Hospitality Station on Wednesday and Thursday. Participants should gather in the Mountain Grand Lodge (outside the Vienna) by 8:00 pm Thursday for instructions and supplies. Q: What is the "Passionate Teams" Challenge? A: The "Passionate Teams" Challenge is a game Full Conference registrants are eligible to play on Thursday.
