Check into your suites, enjoy a late dinner. DAY 2 MIGRATION CAMP Full breakfast. Private transfer to the airport. Arrive Tanzania! Meet James. Safari is on! The Serengeti quite simply offers the finest wildlife viewing anywhere in Africa. Upon arrival, meet your team of driver-guides who will be your companions and at your service throughout your trip. Immediately begin exploring the game rich Lobo River Valley. Enjoy lunch as you make your way to your very special lodging, built within the rocks of a koppje in the picturesque Ndassiate Hill. Arrive Migration Camp. Check in for 3 amazing nights. Evening: Sumptuous 4-course dinner. Later, stargaze and fall asleep to sounds of hippos. DAY 3 MIGRATION CAMP Camp breakfast. Mara River Migration Adventure. Full day game drive with picnic lunch on the banks. Look for Wildebeest crossing, Hippos and Nile Crocodiles. Enjoy a superb bush picnic lunch, set up for you prior to your arrival. Take a short walking safari accompanied by your ranger. After lunch continue further north into the Lamia Wedge and the beginning of the Mara Watershed. A stunning drive, the Northern Woodlands give way to open savanna. DAY 4 MIGRATION CAMP Camp Breakfast. Lobo Valley Game Drive. Serengeti Lion Project Lunch. Special bush picnic with discussion by local biologists. Topics will be the local ecosystem, lion behavior, pride structure, along with current monitoring techniques used to track the lions. Evening: Dinner at camp. DAY 5 NGORONGORO Leisurely camp breakfast. Ngorongoro Crater today. First, though: game drive! Explore the Upper Grumeti Woodlands. These verdant woods consist of whistling thorn, paper-bark and green thorn acacias. Giraffe feed exclusively on tender leaves of acacia. Take lunch at Migration Camp and relax after your drive. Depart for the airstrip. Ready for your charter flight to Ngorongoro Crater. Ascend the Ngorongoro Highlands as the endless Serengeti Plains fade behind. Arrive Lake Manyara Airstrip. DAY 7 SASAKWA LODGE Lodge breakfast. Check out; depart for Lake Manyara, well known for tree-climbing lions, elephants and large troops of baboons. Descend the Crater Highlands into 3 distinct habitats: open floodplains, acacia woodlands, groundwater forest. Spend the morning exploring, enjoy a bush lunch. Game drive your way to the airstrip. Depart on your private charter flight to the Western Serengeti. Arrive Fort Ikoma Airstrip. Private transfer to Sasakwa Lodge. Check into your cottage for 3 incredible nights.
