A stealing under $500 at the Fine Arts Building. A staff member left an ipod unattended for a brief period of time. When he returned it was missing. Investigation is April 1, 2011 the UMSL Police Department was made aware of a student that was feeling suicidal. The student contacted UMSL s counseling services. The Jefferson County Sheriff s Department was subsequently contacted due to the location of the student s residence. The student was transported to the Hospital via ambulance. April 1, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-140. A larceny at the Social Science Building. A flat screen television was discovered missing. The stealing of the television caused damage to the wall where it was mounted. No suspect(s) at this time. Investigation is April 2, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-141. A disturbance at University Park Apartments on Florissant Road. A boyfriend and girlfriend were arguing loudly. The girlfriend was instructed to leave the boyfriend s residence and return to her own apartment for the night, she complied. April 4, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-142. A sick case at health services. A student was experiencing chest pains. Transported to DePaul Hospital via ambulance. April 4, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-143. A stealing over $500 at Stadler Hall. Laptop, book bag, calculator and text books taken from a classroom. Items were left unattended for approximately two hours in an unlocked classroom. No suspect(s) at this time. Investigation is April 4, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-144. An auto accident in Lot E. A parked vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle. No suspect(s) at this time. Investigation is April 5, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-145. A disturbance at Normandy Trace. Student arguing with girlfriend loudly on the telephone. Report was taken due to negative instances in the past with subject. He was asked to quiet down and complied. April 6, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-148. Property found in the Millennium Student Center. Wallet was found. It was subsequently returned to owner.
April 6, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-149. An auto accident in West Drive Garage. Two vehicles involved. No injuries. April 7, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-150. A sick case at the Millennium Student Center. Student feeling suicidal. Subject transported to DePaul Hospital via ambulance. April 7, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-151. Property found at Express Scripts. A wallet was found. Message left with owner. April 8, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-152. An accidental injury at the Mark Twain Gym. A student injured shoulder while playing soccer. Transported to DePaul Hospital via ambulance. April 10, 2011 UMSL Police assisted Normandy PD on a robbery that occurred at the Metrolink. Two suspects stole a cell phone from victim. Suspects were apprehended by Normandy PD and turned over to Metrolink PD due to jurisdiction. Property was returned to owner. April 11, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-153. A stealing over $500 at the Millennium Student Center. Fifty bags of salt from the boiler room were discovered missing. Occurred sometime within the last two weeks. No suspect(s) at this time. Investigation is April 11, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-154. A wallet was lost. Victim lost wallet somewhere between Mansion Hills and North Campus. A credit card was used at McDonalds in Cool Valley. No suspect(s) at this time. Investigation of the used credit card will be conducted by Cool Valley PD due to jurisdiction. April 12, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-155. Property damage/stealing over $500 at the Music Building. A student reported her vehicle broken into. The vehicle lock was broken and entry was gained, taken was a kindle book reader, ipod touch, power cords and $200 cash. No suspect(s) at this time. Investigation is April 13, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-156. Disturbance at University Park Apartments. A boyfriend and girlfriend were arguing loudly. Male subject was asked to leave and complied. April 14, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-157. Fugitive arrest. A frequent parking violator had his vehicle booted. He was not a student. It was determined that he had a warrant from St. Louis County. He was processed and released to St. Louis County PD. April 14, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-158. Found property at the Des Lee Technology Center. A wallet was found and subsequently returned to owner. April 15, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-159. A suicidal subject at University Meadows. A student was feeling suicidal. She was transported to DePaul Hospital via ambulance. April 16, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-160. A sick case at the Social Science Building. Subject with cramps and nervousness. No ambulance requested. Mother of subject arrived to assist in caring for her.
April 17, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-161. Check the welfare at University Meadows. A Mother was concerned for her son. She had not heard from him in several days. Subject was contacted by officers. April 18, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-162. A found property report at TJ Library. A student lost her purse. Purse was recovered and owner will pick up property. April 18, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-163. A found property report from the TJ Library. A cell phone was found. Owner has not been notified as of yet. April 19, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-164. Property damage at 8142 Natural Bridge. Student reported damage to vehicle lock on the driver side door. Nothing was taken from vehicle. No suspect(s) at this time. Investigation is April 20, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-165. An auto accident, leaving the scene at West Dr. and Marillac Dr. A student struck a pole in what she reported to be an attempt to kill herself. Subject was intoxicated at the time of the accident. She left the scene and was located a short time later on campus. Subject was transported to the hospital for treatment due to her mental state. She was not injured. Reports #167 (CIT incident) & #168 (DWI) were written in reference to this incident. April 20, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-166. An auto accident in Lot B. No injuries. April 20, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-169. A recovered stolen auto/stealing over $500 on Lot C. A stolen vehicle was sighted on campus. The suspect was arrested by UMSL PD for tampering 1 st. When the auto was searched, stolen property was discovered inside. The property was taken from a student at Barnes Library earlier the same day. The property was returned to owner. The suspect was processed by UMSL PD and released to University City PD on unrelated charges. April 20, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-170. A stove fire at Mansion Hills. Food in an oven caught fire. The fire department was dispatched but the RA on duty put the fire out with a fire extinguisher before their arrival. No injuries. April 20, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-171. A burglary at the Villa. A dorm room was left unlocked. Suspect entered the room and stole a wallet, an identification card and U.S. coins. No suspect(s) at this time. Investigation is April 20, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-172. Found Property at the Barnes Library. A credit card was found. Owner notified and will retrieve property. April 20, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-173. A loud party report at University Meadows. Delayed report from April 16, 2011. Resident of apartment was reported as having a loud party. There have been similar instances with the resident in the past.
April 20, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-174. An assault 3 rd. Two roommates involved in a verbal altercation. Threat was made to kill roommate. Victim was fearful, left residence and did not return but contacted police. Investigation is April 21, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-175. A stealing under $500 at the General Services Building. A student failed to return an UMSL owned camera from the fall 2010 semester. Student was contacted and the equipment was subsequently returned. No prosecution. April 21, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-176. Possible identity theft. The victim, who is not a student, reported an UMSL student used her personal information to obtain a student loan without permission. April 21, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-177. A sick case at University Meadows. Student accidentally took an extra dose of medication. Transported to DePaul Hospital by a friend. April 21, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-178. A sick case at University Meadows. A student was feeling feverish and reported feeling sick for approximately a week. Transported to DePaul Hospital via ambulance. April 23, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-179. A peace disturbance/trespassing at the Performing Arts Center. A student was causing a disturbance during a performance. He was asked to leave and would not comply. He was arrested and released pending application of warrant. April 24, 2011 UMSL Police responded to the Metrolink North Platform to assist St. Louis County PD on a larceny. Two suspects stole a cell phone on the platform. Both suspects were caught and the incident was handled by St. Louis County PD. April 25, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-180. Delayed report from April 21 st. An assault 3 rd at the South Campus Classroom Building. A student inappropriately touched another student on the leg. Investigation is Suspect was suspended from UMSL and incident is being investigated by Student Affairs. April 25, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-181. A sick case at Express Scripts, Building 2. An employee was experiencing stomach cramps. She was transported to DePaul Hospital via ambulance. April 25, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-182. Trespassing at Woods Hall. A student was on campus after being suspended and advised if he returned he would be charged with trespassing. The student returned to campus and was subsequently arrested, booked and released pending application of warrant. April 26, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-183. An auto accident in Lot E. An UMSL shuttle bus struck a safety pole on the lot. No injuries. April 26, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-184. A stealing under $500 at Lucas Hall. Victim left her purse at Lucas Hall. A sick case at the Millennium Student Center, health services. A student was experiencing stomach pains. He was transported to Barnes Hospital via ambulance. April 28, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-187. Found property at the Social Science Building. An iphone was found. Owner notified and will retrieve property. April 28, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-188. A sick case at Millennium Student Center, health services. Student was experiencing a possible diabetic incident. Ambulance responded. No transport. April 29, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-189. An auto accident at the West Drive Garage. Two vehicles involved. No injuries. Minor damage. April 29, 2011 UMSL Police responded to Hazelwood PD in reference to a subject being held there that was wanted by UMSL PD for stealing from campus. Subject was booked by UMSL PD and released pending warrant application. April 30, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-190. A trespassing/property damage at South Campus Classroom Building. A freelance reporter came to a labor relations class and was taking photos. The professor and the reporter have had negative encounters in the recent past. The professor purposefully knocked over the reporters camera, damaging it. The professor was arrested for property damage and the reporter was arrested for trespassing. Both were booked and released pending warrant applications. April 30, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-191. Property damage in Lot TT. A vehicle was discovered with the window broken out. Unable to contact owner as of yet. Investigation is April 30, 2011 UMSL Police took report #11-192. A student made a harassing phone call to another student. The suspect left sexually suggestive messages on her phone. Investigation is
