President Lauren Slater: Good to see everyone mingling and getting to know the other club s members. Jennifer Weale: If the noise is any indication, everyone s had a good night. (above: Bob Martin, Dennis and Jo Wilson, Sue Painting, Donna and Dave O Grady) How else can you describe a bright social evening with a warm venue (complete with log fire), tasty food (the steak and kidney pies were particularly popular at our table [Ed]) and carefully selected beverages to accompany our meals? Congratulations to Jennifer Weale and Lauren Slater for organising such a fun event. and, the final drollery From Centre Of The Wheel-17 (Rotary Club Of Trivandrum Central District 3211 (Kerala, Southern India) It is only during the fellowship, the real pulse of Rotary is brought out. One Rotarian, who was in high spirits, declared, I want to become the District Governor! Can anybody help me? His friend asked him, Are you crazy? He retorted, Why? Is it necessary? Under our District Project VISION 2000, the doctor was examining and testing the eyes of a man. Doctor, will I be able to read after wearing glasses? Yes, of course said the doctor, Why not! Oh! How nice it would be, said the patient with joy. I have been illiterate for so long! Thanks to Rotary. Bulletin Reporter: Pics: Relieving Keyway Editor: Marilyn Walter Denise Flockton Marilyn Walter
