1. Depart Historic Harrison County Courthouse, heading north. Turn east on Grand Avenue/U S 80. Proceed to intersection of Highway 59, Highway 43, and U S 80 and turn north. 2. Go under the train overpass and move to right lane and proceed northeasterly on Highway 43 approximately 10 miles to FM 2682. Continue on 43 past intersection, passing large antebellum house on right, childhood home of Lady Bird Johnson, wife of President Lyndon Johnson. 3. Continue northeasterly on 43 approximately 3 miles and exit right on Spur 449. Go approximately one mile to intersection of state highway 134 and turn right (south). Intersection is entrance to Caddo Lake National Wildlife Refuge. 4. Continue south on 134 approximately 5 miles to community of Leigh, Texas at intersection of state highway 1999. Turn left (east) on 1999. Entrance to Antioch Cemetery is on left (north) near intersection. 5. Depart Antioch cemetery heading east on 1999 and go approximately 2.2 miles to intersection of 1999 and FM 9. There is a convenience store on northwest corner of this intersection. 6. Turn left (north) on FM 9 and proceed 3. 9 miles to Swanson s Landing Road, on the right hand (east) side of FM 9. 7. Turn right (east) on Swanson s Landing Road and proceed 3.1 miles to State Line Road. Turn left (north) and enter Cricket s Marina, which is slightly south of Swanson s Landing and overlooks Buzzard Bay on Caddo Lake. This view takes in the old steamboat route that boats would have used coming to and going from Swanson s Landing. 8. Depart Cricket s Marina by heading south on State Line Road and going 4.7 miles to intersection of Blanchard/Latex Rd, aka Parish Road (PR) 6. Turn left (east.) 9. Proceed east on PR-6 1.7 miles to Shiloh Church and Cemetery. Cemetery is behind church with ample parking. Lead Belly s grave is prominent in the cemetery. 10. Depart Shiloh Church, turn left (West) on PR-6. Proceed west through intersection with State Line Road (entering Texas becomes 1999 again) and continue 5.3 miles to intersection of 1999 and FM 9.
11. Turn left (south) on FM 9 and proceed 1.7 miles to FM 2705 AKA Lotta Road, on right hand side (west) of FM 9. 12. Turn right (southwest) on Lotta Road (FM 2705) and proceed 4.0 miles to FM 134. 13. Turn left (south) on FM 134 and proceed 2.1 miles to Jonesville, Texas. Stop at T. C. Lindsey Store, in continuous operation since 1847. 14. Depart T. C. Lindsey store by taking the right fork off FM 134, to the West side of the store. This is the Jonesville Cut Off Road, FM 2727. Cross the railroad tracks and proceed.9 miles to US 80, also the frontage road to I-20. 15. Turn right (west) on US 80 and continue return to Marshall, going approximately 15 miles to Algoma Cemetery North on right (north) side of US 80/Victory Drive. When there is a headstone for Omar this will be a stop. 16. Depart Algoma Cemetery North (when included in tour) and turn right (west) on Victory Drive/ U S 80, and proceed? miles to intersection of North Washington Street and US 80/Grand Avenue. 17. Turn right (north) on North Washington and go two blocks to parking lot of the Texas & Pacific Depot & Museum. 18. Depart T&P Museum by heading South on North Washington Street. Cross Grand Avenue and continue four blocks to return to Historic Harrison County Courthouse & Museum.

Stop at Antioch Cemetery in Leigh. 8. Depart Antioch cemetery heading east on 1999 and go approximately 2.2 miles to intersection of 1999 and FM 9.
