ABOUT LUXEMBOURG Situated in Western Europe, Luxembourg City is one of the three official capitals of the European Union. A mix of French and Germanic cultures is the result of Luxembourg s geographic location, bordered by these two countries and Brussels. Its multicultural character is emphasized by the country having three official languages: Luxembourgish, French and German. However, much of the population of Luxembourg speaks English. PLACES TO VISIT Despite its small size, the city of Luxembourg has several museums and art centres that are worth a visit, and they are only a short distance away from one another. The different paths leading to these attractions offer a relaxed route with numerous boutiques, restaurants and cafés, and gorgeous scenic views of the city.
