CULTURE: THE SUGAR FACTORY Rising above the green sugar cane fields, the old sugar mill of Beau Plan with its long history is a true maker of history and tales. By following the trail of the adventure of sugar with a history of over 250 years, you can retrace the past of the country. They converted old factory into a modern museum visit lasts approximately 1 h 30 at the end of which, a tasting of the delicious sugar and especially local rum awaits visitors.
