Payments made on or before February 28, 2017 will receive a 10% discount. The fees are as follows: Water Fee $280.00 Sewer Fee 143.00 Subtotal $423.00 Less 10% discount - 42.30 Total $380.70 Water Fee only after discount $252.00 Sewer Fee only after discount $128.70 Grants-In-Aid Application Pursuant to section 176 of the Local Government Act, the Village of Canal Flats has authority to provide financial assistance to community groups. Non-profit groups or organizations wishing to apply for financial assistance can find 2017 Grant-In-Aid Applications on the Village website at www.canalflats.com or pick one up at the Village office. Deadline for submissions is January 31, 2017. Please note: 2017 Dog Tags It is required that all dogs be licenced in the Village of Canal Flats. 2017 licences will be available for purchase at the Village Office beginning December 1st. Male & Female neutered $10 Male & Female open $30 DOG CONTROL CONTRACT The Village is seeking expressions of interest from individuals or companies who may be interested in providing the services of a Dog Control Officer on a contract basis. Maximum contract fee would be $4000.00 per year, plus fuel allowance. Drop off resume at the Village Office Snow removal services are not intended to eliminate all hazardous conditions, but more to assist vehicles that are properly equipped for winter driving conditions and operated in a manner consistent with good winter driving habits and also to assist pedestrians walking with care and attention to winter conditions.
