The Linyanti is not just for ticking off major species, it also has a knack of delivering lesser spotted wildlife, such as that long searched for wild dog or a rare bush pig. This is the place where wildlife documentaries are made. The Linyanti has riverine woodlands, open woodlands, towering mopane and leadwood forests, as well as flood plains, open grasslands and waterholes. It is a great dry land contrast to the water inundated Okavango Delta. Photo credit: Charlie Sharbel
