02-07-2017-04-07-2017 Sesriem / Quiver Camp - Taleni After a leisurely breakfast receive your vehicle and drive via Rehoboth & Rietoog to Sesriem where your lodge is situated only 5 minutes drive from the Entrance gates. The entrance gate to Sossusvlei opens at sunrise, form here it is another 65km to the Sossusvlei parking from which you can take a 4x4 shuttle service to Sossusvlei. This is a dune wonderland, with towering dunes up to 300 m high surrounding a huge, dried up pan. On your return journey make a stop as Deadvlei and Sesriem Canyon. 2 x Overnights in a Standard Room Incl Meet & Greet at Windhoek Accommodation Established in 2015, Desert Quiver Camp is situated on a 40 000 hectare private reserve, a mere 5 kilometers away from Sossusvlei Lodge which lies directly adjacent to the Sesriem gate of the Namib Naukluft Park - sanctuary to the highest sand dunes found in the oldest desert in the world. 04-07-2017-06-07-2017 Swakopmund / Swakopmund Guesthouse Continue to our coastal region and Swakopmund via the Kuiseb Canyon and Walvis Bay. Afternoon at leisure. You have the next day to enjoy optional activities, like Dolphin Boat Cruise, Living Desert Tour or for the more adventurous Quad biking or skydiving. Swakopmund, Namibia s seaside resort resembling a Bavarian village nestled between the Desert and the Sea. You approach the town through the endless expanses of the Namib Desert, one of the world s largest wilderness areas. Then, through the mists (it is almost always misty in the morning and late afternoon) Bavarian spires and elaborate Germanic architecture rise through the fog banks. The boom of the surf on the notorious Skeleton Coast is an ever-present reminder of the icy Atlantic Ocean beyond. The town is an eclectic mixture of Bohemian and Bavarian, home to an intriguing mix of artists, hippies, strait-laced descendants of German settlers, stately Herero women in Victorian dress, and hard bitten miners, game rangers, safari operators and fishermen. Swakopmund exudes romance and history, a rich cultural melting pot of old and new. 2 x Overnight in a Luxury Room www.swakopmundguesthouse.com Situated in the town centre, a mere five-minute walk from the beach and main shopping area, Swakopmund Guesthouse is owned and run by the Borg family. The guesthouse was previously used as a holiday house by the very family that runs it now. It has been completely revamped to offer four standard rooms, seven luxury rooms and one family suite for guests wanting to indulge in a comfortable stay-over close to the ocean. The spacious rooms are fitted with crisp, white linen sheets. Wallpaper portraying a peaceful view of the ocean adds to the clean and neat atmosphere of the guesthouse. The en-suite bathrooms with soft cream walls are decorated with beach pebbles that give them a unique atmosphere. 26 October, 2016 Page 4 of 13

06-07-2017-08-07-2017 Damaraland / Twyfelfontein Lodge Early departure via Uis, to Damaraland 'Twyfelfontein' Enroute you can make a stop at the engravings, your lodge is tented style, with beautiful surroundings. Twyfelfontein (meaning doubtful fountain) is a massive, open-air art gallery of great interest to international rock art connoisseurs. Regarded as one of the richest collections of rock engravings in Africa, this treasure house of rock engravings left by stone-age artists is the first site in Namibia to be nominated by the Namibian Monuments Council for recognition by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. This will ensure that measures for preservation of the site are taken and maintained. South of Twyfelfontein is the Burnt Mountain, a panorama of desolation with colored rocks contrasting vividly against the greyblack surroundings. The Organ Pipes, a mass of basalt slabs in a ravine gouged out by a river, is another geological curiosity in the area. South west of Twyfelfontein is the Doros Crater, where fossil remains have been found among the rocks. You have the next day at leisure to explore the engravings and surrounding area. 2 x Overnight in Standard Rooms www.namibialodges.com Situated in the heart of the Damaraland surrounded by one of the most beautiful wilderness regions on earth you will find a piece of paradise. Twyfelfontein Country Lodge is situated within a UNESCO world heritage site. 08-07-2017-10-07-2017 Kaokoveld / Opuwo Country Hotel Early departure via Palmwag and Sesfontein, to travel this road we strongly recommend a Nissan X-trail or similar and in rainy season a 4x4. Although a scenic drive, it is a gravel road with lots of little dips that can be filled with water. You have the next day at leisure for an optional Ovahimba excursion organized directly at the lodge. Of Herero descent, the Ovahimba are an extraordinary people who have resisted change and maintained their rich and unique cultural heritage. It is a culture suffused with meaning, significance and harmony. Impoverished by Nama cattle raiders in the mid to late 1800's, they were forced into being hunter-gatherers. Due to this, they were called the Tjimba, derived form the word meaning aardvark, the animal that digs for it's food. Many fled to Angola where they were called Ovahimba, meaning 'beggars'. They didn't stay long as a new leader emerged. His name was Vita, meaning war, at which he was quite successful. After World War 1 he resettled his people in Kaokoland, because the area was now under South African, and not German rule. Since then they have been living their nomadic lives without much interference. But more and more they have had to reconcile traditional ways with Western values. From the Lodge you will be taken on a Visit to a Nearby Himba Village, your English Speaking guide will give you all information, and do the translation with the Ovahimba people in the Village 2 x Overnights in Luxury Rooms Incl Himba Village visit www.namibialodges.com Opuwo Country Hotel is situated on a hilltop, north-west of the bustling town of Opuwo. It overlooks the surrounding valleys and mountains and is an ideal base to explore Kaokoland. The hotel was officially opened by His Excellency, Hifikipunyu Pohamba on the 25th August 2005. Opuwo is the gateway to Namibia's Kaokoveld region. This remote area, south of the Kunene river, is home to the Himba; people who have kept their ethnic individuality and culture, whilst surviving in the seclusion of Kaokoland. The hotel has a dining room, bar, lounge, wine cellar, curio shop, patio and swimming pool. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are normally served buffet style, but guests are welcome to order from the 'a la carte' menu if they prefer. Snacks can be ordered throughout the day. Accommodation is in 28 luxury or 12 standard rooms. They all have en-suite bathrooms and air-conditioning. Each room is overshadowed by the majestic, thatched main building. Activities include a guided excursion to an authentic Himba village, Epupa Falls trip, pioneer track hikes, and rural self-drive trips can also be arranged. Alternatively, why not ask about their drive to the hidden treasures of Kaokoland? 26 October, 2016 Page 6 of 13

10-07-2017-11-07-2017 Etosha / Dolomite Camp After a leisurely breakfast you start your journey towards Etosha National Park. You enter Etosha National Park at the newly opened Western gate. You will have the rest of the day for game drives or can spend your time to relax at the lodge. 1 x Overnight in Standard Chalet www.nwr.com.na Dolomite Camp is located in western Etosha National Park, near the Dolomietpunt waterhole. It is the first camp to be built on this side of Etosha, opening up a territory previously not accessible to mainstream tourists. Some of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Etosha roam freely here, including Hartmann's zebra which does not occur in the eastern section. The surrounding vegetation of mainly karstveldt and mopane shrubland is different to the rest of the park. The camp is set amongst dolomite formations, ensuring game drives are conducted in one of the park's most scenic locations. The dolomite hill, the setting of the camp, boasts hundreds of seasonally blooming plant species, a lure for botanists and photographers alike. Self-drive visitors to Etosha must note that entry through the western entrance to Etosha at Galton's Gate (45km) is only permitted with previously booked accommodation for Dolomite Camp. The other restcamps located inside Etosha National Park are Okaukuejo Camp (180km from Dolomite Camp), Halali Camp (250km), Namutoni Camp (320km) and Onkoshi Camp (350km), these can not be reached using the Galton's gate although this gate may open for the general public in 2014. The western section now open to the public measures approxiamately one-third of the total area of Etosha Park itself. Although the main wildlife spectacles occur in and around the waterholes and vegetation of the Etosha Pan, game viewing is also very good in this area. There are no fewer than 15 waterholes in the vicinity of Dolomite Camp. The hilly and rocky terrain here also becomes a wildlife retreat for the entire park during the wet season. The camp's interior blends and harmonizes with the immediate environment. Facilities include a reception, guest lounge, fireside boma, laundry service, swimming pool and secure parking. A walkway from the bar and restaurant area leads to the accommodation. There are 20 east and west facing elevated thatched en-suite chalets, nestled amongst dolomite rocky outcrops. Privacy and dramatic panoramic landscape views are guaranteed. 12 x West-facing: Single and double chalets equipped with 2 beds, tea/coffee station, spectacular sunset view. 6 x East-facing: 2 x beds, tea/coffee station, spectacular sunrise view. 2 x East-facing Deluxe chalets: 1 x single and 1 x double chalet with a double bed in each, tea/coffee station, own private plunge pools, spectacular sunrise view. Large herds of zebra, giraffe and antelope wander the plains around Dolomite Camp. Black and white rhino are present in numbers, often at Klip-pan waterhole. Previously endangered species such as the black rhino and black-faced impala have been successfully bred here. Wildlife excursions are conducted by professional and knowledgeable tour guides. Apart from the normal Etosha game viewing a special attraction of the Otjiovasondo area is the opportunity to see both the Plains Zebra and the Mountain Zebra drinking or grazing side by side and spotting the rare Sable Antelope. 26 October, 2016 Page 7 of 13

11-07-2017-12-07-2017 Etosha / Okaukuejo Rest Camp After breakfast you can depart on your self guided drive towards Okaukuejo. You have the next 2 days in the park to enjoy game drives from the comfort of your own vehicle, optional night and guided game drives with safari vehicles are offered by the rest camp. Etosha NP owes its unique landscape to the Etosha Pan, a vast shallow depression of approximately 5 000 square km. A series of waterholes along the Southern edge of the pan guarantee the rewarding and often spectacular game viewing. In good rain years the pan fills with water draining southwards from Angola via the delta like system of shallow rivers and oshanas, drying out in the winter to become an austere expanse of white cracked mud, shimmering with mirages and upward spiraling dust devils. Of the mammal species found in the park, several are rare and endangered, such as black rhino and black-faced impala. Etosha s elephants are reputed to be the largest in Africa, the tallest ones measuring up to 4m at the shoulder. Their tusks, on the other hand, are relatively small. For the greater part of the year the Etosha Pan is a bleak expanse of white cracked mud which shimmers with mirages on most days. Seeing vast herds of game against this eerie backdrop makes the Etosha game-viewing experience unique. 1 x Overnight in a Bush Chalet www.nwr.com.na Okaukuejo is 114kms north of Outjo on the C38. This road leads you right to Etosha Park's Andersson's Gate and from here it is only a few 'game viewing' kilometers to Okaukuejo. It is the oldest tourist camp in Etosha and it currently functions as the administrative hub of the park as well as being home to the Etosha Ecological Institute. It is situated at the Southern end of the Etosha Pan. The main attraction of this camp is that it overlooks a permanent waterhole, which is floodlit at night. Here a wide diversity of wildlife congregates and interacts. The spectacle starts at dawn, with animals coming in large numbers to quench their thirst. The excitement continues throughout the day and deep into the night. In the early evenings, it is not uncommon to have black rhinoceros, elephant and lion, all drinking at the same time. There is a bar, shop, swimming pool and a kiosk The restaurant provides a choice of a buffet or 'a la carte' menus. Premier Waterhole Chalet: double story chalet with a balcony overlooking the waterhole. Two bedrooms, downstairs with 2 single beds and upstairs with a queen size double. Lounge area, fridge and tea-station Family Chalet: self catering unit with two bedrooms, kitchenette and braai (barbeque) area Waterhole Chalet: situated close to the waterhole these are comfortable double rooms with en-suite bathroom, fridge & teastation Bush Chalet: 2 bed chalet with one bedroom, bathroom, lounge area & braai. Equipped with fridge & tea station Double Room: room with en-suite bathroom, fridge & tea station Okaukuejo is the main area of tourist activity inside Etosha, but visitors can also choose to stay at either Halali, Namutoni or Onkoshi Camp. All four of these camps are operated by Namibia Wildlife Resorts and have the advantage of being inside the Etosha National Park. Alternatively, you might like to enquire about several other private lodges around Etosha. Etosha National Park is one of Southern Africa's finest and most important Game Reserves. Etosha Game park was declared a National Park in 1907 and covering an area of 22 270 square km, it is home to 114 mammal species, 340 bird species, 110 reptile species, 16 amphibian species and, surprisingly, one species of fish. The Etosha Park is one of the first places on any itinerary designed for a holiday in Namibia. Etosha, meaning "Great White Place", is dominated by a massive mineral pan. The pan is part of the Kalahari Basin, the floor of which was formed around 1000 million years ago. The Etosha Pan covers around 25% of the National Park. The pan was originally a lake fed by the Kunene River. However the course of the river changed thousands of years ago and the lake dried up. The pan now is a large dusty depression of salt and dusty clay which fills only if the rains are heavy and even then only holds water for a short 26 October, 2016 Page 8 of 13

time. This temporary water in the Etosha Pan attracts thousands of wading birds including impressive flocks of flamingos. The perennial springs along the edges of the Etosha Pan draw large concentrations of wildlife and birds. 12-07-2017-13-07-2017 Etosha East / Etosha Aoba Lodge After breakfast you drive all along the Southern Edge of the Etosha National Park towards the East. Drive along a series of Waterholes where you will experience some spectacular game viewing. Overnight at a small and personal lodge just 15 km outside the National Park. 1 x Overnight in a Heritage Chalet www.etosha-aoba-lodge.com Within half-an-hour s drive from the eastern entrance gate of the Etosha National Park, and a mere 10 kilometers from the main road, stands Etosha Aoba Lodge. This tranquil and cozy lodge is set in a Tamboti-Terminalia forest next to a dry river bed. Experience the sights, sounds and smells of the African bush from the terrace of the lodge s thatched, open-sided bar and dining area. It also overlooks a waterhole! Etosha Aoba Lodge has 10 well-appointed thatched cottages, many of whose verandahs overlook the dry river bed. Tastefully furnished, they all have large twin beds with mosquito nets, en-suite bathrooms, ceiling fan and a tea / coffee machine. Completing the luxury bush experience is the 24 hour main line power (220V) system. The lodge places great emphasis on its excellent cuisine. Home and local produce provide fresh ingredients for a variety of euronamibian meals. Many guests comment on how they have enjoyed an evening s feast of kudu terrine, zebra steaks or roast beef at the end of their day. Incidentally, all the cattle are raised naturally. The rainy season can yield the Omajova mushrooms. This particular type of mushroom is freshly harvested from the local termite hills. Or maybe you would prefer truffles brought from the red sand of the Kalahari in eastern Namibia? Compliment your meal with the selection of chilled South African wines and Namibian beers available. Etosha Aoba Lodge also provides pre-booked guided game drives into Etosha National Park and of course the traditional sundowner drives on the farm. And why not stretch your legs on one of the walking trails on the Fischers Pan Private Game Reserve? It is not unusual to see a variety of birds, squirrels or bushbabies whilst chilling close to the pool or on the veranda. You need not wander too far from here to see antelope either! And finally, before you head for the beaten track, tuck into the breakfast buffet! Fruits of the season, eggs to order, a variety of German style breads, home made marmalades from wild Eros plums and Marula fruits, will complete your stay at Etosha Aoba Lodge. 26 October, 2016 Page 9 of 13

13-07-2017-15-07-2017 Grootfontein / Fiume Bush Camp D+Act Early departure via Grootfontein to your Tented Camp in Bushmanland. The following day you will go on an excursion to a Bushman settlement in the area. Once there, you will go on a guided walk with a Bushman family who will share with you their knowledge of the local fauna & flora. Experience how the Bushmen survived in the harsh conditions of the desert, and still managed to survive, living off the fruits and roots that mother nature supplies. You will also be able to visit a typical "nowadays village" where the bushmen are still living today. In the afternoon on return to the lodge you can still participate in an optional game drive. 2 x Overnight in a Standard Tented Room At Fiume Bush Camp you will be hosted by the Gressman Family. From here you will be given a unique insight into the daily lives of the Bushmen. You will join them on a walk in the bush, so that they can show you how to track spoor, and indicate edible and medicinal plants. The ladies in the village will show you how they make jewelry and you can try your best to get a fire made with 2 sticks. It is a very informative, and definitely humbling experience to see how this clan lives absolutly in harmony with nature. The Bushmen Excursion includes the following points. Fire making A Bushwalk Explanation of weapons and quiver How to make jewellery, string, bow and a demonstration of how to hunt. Games of the Ju/ Hansi Medicine dance 26 October, 2016 Page 10 of 13

15-07-2017-16-07-2017 Waterberg / Waterberg Guestfarm Today you start on your return journey to Windhoek, and will travel via Grootfontein and Otjiwarongo to the Waterberg Plateau Park. Afternoon at leisure to visit CCF or go on a hiking trail. This historic farm can trace it's history back to the late 1800 and sitting around the dinner table and hearing the history and strong connection to the Herero people of the area, helping you realize how Namibia's history was formed. 1 x Overnight in a Standard Room www.waterbergnamibia.com Situated at the foot of the majestic Waterberg Plateau in northern Namibia is the magnificent Waterberg Guest Farm, a 42 000 hectare paradise of natural African savannah. Our concept is simple - a small luxury guest house, accommodating a limited number of guests, set in the midst of a wildlife haven with personal attention, spectacular surroundings and exceptional cuisine.the Waterberg Conservancy includes Waterberg Guest Farm, the Waterberg Plateau Park, the Cheetah Conservation Trust (CCF) and several surrounding ranches and forms a combined natural habitat of over 150 000 hectares committed to the conservation of flora, fauna and fragile ecosystems In order to share the natural beauty and heritage of the Waterberg and their passion for conservation with visitors, Harry opened the Waterberg Guest Farm in 1995.The original 1930s manager s house was converted into a guesthouse with 4 double and twin rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms.
