New security measures Concerning liquids, gels, pastes and aerosols in cabin baggage: The contents (bottle, jar, tube) should not exceed 100 ml and should be carried in a transparent resealable freezer-type plastic bag of a capacity not exceeding 1 litre and of a 20cm x 20 cm size. Food for babies or toddlers as well as medication to be used during the stay are authorised. Passengers may be required to prove the authenticity of products by tasting them or showing a medical prescription or certificate. Concerning the purchase of liquids, gels, pastes and aerosols in Aéroports de Paris duty free shops: All products in liquid, paste, gel, cream and aerosol form purchased in these shops are authorised in the cabin. These products will be placed in a sealed bag and handed to the passenger by sales personnel before boarding if purchased in the shops located between passport control and airport security checkpoints. Purchases must also be placed in sealed bags by sales personnel in the case of a connection through a European Union, Swiss, Icelandic or Norwegian airport. To be allowed through the connecting airport s security checkpoint, these bags must not be opened and should come with a receipt certifying purchase that same day. Other measures imposed by the European Commission: Passengers should remove their coats and jackets before going through security screening.
