This evening at 7:00 pm, you will be taken on a PANORAMIC CITY TOUR BY NIGHT. You will be driven to the centre of the colonial city, the Main Square, where the Presidential Palace, the Cathedral, the Archbishop s Palace and the Metropolitan City Hall are located. The tour goes on to the modern district of San Isidro, where you will get past the Huaca Huallamarca, an adobe pre-incan pyramid, and lastly you ll get to Miraflores, and Parque del Amor (Love Park), from where you will have a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean. The tour will show you the amazing colonial city built on the foundations of the Inca Palaces. Visit the local market of San Pedro, where you will find diverse local products such as different varieties of potatoes, corn, peppers, fruits, spices, among other things. Also visit the Koricancha or Temple of the Sun, where you can appreciate the incredible masonry of the Incas, the Plaza de Armas and the Cathedral with its carved woodworks, altars and paintings. You will then be driven to the Inca fortress of Sacsahuamán and the underground caves. Lastly, make a final stop at a local café. Awaiting you today is by far and away one of the high points in world tourism: Machu Picchu. Your adventure starts on a train ride to the city of Aguas Calientes, where you will disembark and then board a bus that drives you to the actual Machu Picchu archaeological site, where you will definitely have an experience you will never forget. The tour includes every nook and cranny of this New 7 Wonder of the World and UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site; afterwards, there is some free time for you to explore the site on your own, to relax or to meditate. Later on, board the train for your return trip; you will stop at the Ollantaytambo Station and be picked up and driven to your hotel in Cusco. THUR 19 th MAY 16 CUZCO SACRED VALLEY (B, L) This morning after breakfast, you will be collected from your hotel for a FULL DAY AWANAKANCHA, PISAC MARKET & OLLANTAYTAMBO TOUR. Start off early this morning and travel to the town of Pisac, on the way you will visit Awanakancha, a store where you will find Peruvian Handicrafts and a variety of fauna; after this you will visit Pisac Market, which is quite captivating. After completing this leg of the journey, you will be taken to Ollantaytambo, an Incan military, religious, and agricultural center located at the top of a mountain. From the perspective of the archaeological site, look down upon the town of the same name and see its incredibly narrow streets and canals that have not changed since the Incas constructed them. Lunch is included. Return to your hotel and your evening is free to explore Cuzco. FRI 20 th MAY 16 CUZCO - PUNO (B) Today after breakfast, you will depart for Puno at approximately 07.00 AM. On the way the bus passes by the districts of San Sebastian San Jeronimo Tipon, Oropesa and Piquillacta. Continue to Andahuaylillas for 40 minute to visit the local church which is very nice. The trip continues to pass close to the Lagoon of Urcos, the small towns of Quiqujana, Cusipata, Tinta and San Pedro until reaching the Archeological Site of Raqchi for a 40 minute stop. Arrive at a local restaurant and have 45 minutes to enjoy a buffet lunch. Continue on to Puno, with a 30 minute stop at Pucara Museum, before arriving in to Puno at approximately 17:00pm. 4 P a g e

Enjoy refreshments while we sail to Sun Island, the legendary birth place of the Inca Empire. Visit the Inca Garden, steps and fountain then the Inti Wata Cultural Complex including the Ekako Underground Museum, the traditional medicine and the Titikaka Reed Shipbuilders display centres, the Pachamama agricultural Inca terraces, a handicraft centre, the Intica Lounge and at the Manco Kapac Look out, the largest variety of Andean cameloids. SUN 22nd MAY 16 LA PAZ (B) Today at 9.00am you will be collected from your hotel and taken on a half day CITY AND MOON VALLEY TOUR to visit the famous Witch Doctor's Market, San Francisco Colonial Church and the typical handicrafts of the Sagarnaga Street Market. The tour continues to Plaza Murillo where the Cathedral, the Government Plaza and the national Congress buildings are located. Then, visit the famous colonial street "Calle Jaen" where the interesting museums are clustered together, followed by a visit to the replica of the semisubterranean temple of the Tiwanaku Culture. To change scenery, the tour continues to the residential areas of Obrajes, Calacoto and La Florida. The tour concludes with a visit to the unique Moon Valley where you will have the opportunity to walk around, and visit a ceramic workshop with a demonstration of the art of pottery. Return to your hotel where you have the rest of the day free to explore La Paz. MON 23 rd MAY 16 LA PAZ ARICA - SANTIAGO (B) This morning at 8.00am you will be collected from your hotel for your overland transfer to Arica. Reception at the border at 1pm of Tambo Quemado, located at 220 Km from Arica. After finishing the paper work at the Border we continue at just 5 km for a stop and visit the Chungara Lake, the highest lake in the world. Here we discover a tremendous landscape surrounded by snowcapped volcanoes also a natural wildlife sanctuary with animals and bird life. Amid these spectacular surroundings we find the Parinacota village and its Andean/Colonial architecture, where you will have the chance to meet some its native people. We continue through the international high way with great scenery. Just at 45 km we find Putre, we stop for lunch at a local restaurant and chance to visit the village. We start the descent towards Arica, on the road we pass by several places like the Copaquilla Fortress, Poconchile Village with its 17th century church and the Lluta Valley, where we admire its Geoglyphs. We travel through the different ecological levels existing between the coast and the desert, and the fantastic fertile highlands. 6 P a g e

Arrive at Arica a fascinating city with a spectacular past that you can appreciate through its architecture and its national monuments. We have a short visit at his Historic Morro where we have a panoramic view of the City. We continue to a restaurant for a farewell dinner and then transfer to the airport. 10:40 pm Depart ARICA on LATAM flight LA 387 2:10 am Arrive in SANTIAGO On arrival into Santiago Airport please make your way through Customs and Immigration and after luggage collection, take the LEFT exit to the Arrivals Hall and proceed to EXIT 2 where a representative of AKORN will be waiting with your name on a board to transfer you to your hotel. TUE 24 th MAY 16 SANTIAGO (B) In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel to begin the VALPARAISO TOUR. The Chilean Coast is dominated by two different cities: Valparaiso & Vina del Mar. Valparaiso has a spectacular location between mountains and sea, it is an historic port and a university town, it is also famous for its colourful old houses connected by A network of twisted streets, cable car lines, stairways etc, all of them with a spectacular view of the bay. On the way you will stop at a lovely vineyard at Casablanca Valley where we can organize a nice wine tasting and pairing with sommelier. One of the highlights will be the Chilean Nobel Prize-winning poet Pablo Neruda's Valparaiso residence, "La Sebastiana". You will have the opportunity to take the funicular railway down the hill before continuing back to Santiago. You have the evening free to explore Santiago. WED 25 th MAY 16 SANTIAGO (B) Today you'll get to experience one of the most developed cities in South America. Santiago combines the urban and the classic, in both its architecture and atmosphere. This heritage comes to life through iconic city sights such as the Moneda Presidential Palace, designed by the Italian designer, Joaquin Toesca. From 1845 to 1930 the building actually served as a presidential residence. What were once grand living quarters are now the offices of Cabinet ministers. The Plaza de Armas is the city's most famous square, surrounded by important and beautiful buildings such as the Cathedral and Central Post Office. A few blocks away you'll find the Pre-Columbian Museum with over 700 exhibits of pre-hispanic artwork and relics from diverse cultures including the Mayans, Aztecs and the Mapuches - from the south of Chile. Continue your visit at the Concha y Toro neighbourhood with its charming colonial plaza and architecture. 8 P a g e

At the end of this tour, you'll visit the Pueblo de los Dominicos handicraft market, which resembles a colonial village. You'll find all sorts here, from hand knit sweaters to lapis lazuli to art and even pet animals - an excellent end to this comprehensive sightseeing tour of Santiago. You will then return back to the hotel before a late transfer to the airport.
