Day 3: Reykjavik & Optional 'Golden Circle' Tour Today is a free day to explore the city of Reykjavik, the world s northernmost capital. Bursting with awesome Nordic architecture, cool culture, perfect parks and great bars, cafes and restaurants, the charming, compact city of Reykjavik really does have it all! If you are still craving some more of Iceland s natural beauty, today you can join an optional excursion to the popular tourist area of the Golden Circle. This 300km route includes some of Iceland s iconic sights such as the gorgeous Gullfoss waterfall and Thingvellir National Park. Back in Reykjavik, make the most of the vibrant nightlife which is known to be some of the best in the whole of Europe.
