Project Highlights. Zinfra has successfully delivered for transport clients nationally and our project list is growing. Our experience includes brownfield projects delivered in high density, urban areas and in constrained spaces. Client: Client: Client: Project: Williamsdale to Theodore 132kV Transmission Line New Line Construction Zinfra delivered this project for client Australia Pacific Airports Corporation (APAC) in Melbourne, focussing on the 22kV components of a new 66kV/22kV transformer being installed by Jemena for APAC. The overall project was to support an upgrade to increase electrical capacity at Melbourne Airport. The project scope included design, construction and commissioning, followed by energisation and integration into Melbourne Airports system. The complex, brownfield project was delivered six weeks ahead of schedule, well within budget and, most importantly, without disruption to the power supply to Melbourne s busy airport which handles over 32 million passengers each year. Project: Power Supply Upgrade Program Under Transport for NSW s (TfNSW s)power Supply Upgrade Program, Zinfra delivered the design, construction and commissioning of a new substation at Gosford South and a sectioning hut at Wyoming. The two 5MW rectifier 66kV substation will support the 1,500 volt traction power supply needed to run a new fleet of trains on the Central Coast and Newcastle rail line. The new substation at Gosford South and the Sectioning Hut at Wyoming will replace the existing Gosford substation. Project: Service relocations for Sydney Light Rail Zinfra s extensive experience working with power, gas, water and telco assets means we have the skill and capability to deliver the works required for the CBD and South East Light Rail project. Zinfra is currenlty delivering this work for the new light rail network expected to be running in 2019. We were contracted to deliver service relocations under the Utility Treatment Works Panel for client Acciona, as part of the ALTRAC Light Rail consortium responsible for the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the light rail as part of a Public Private Partnership. Zinfra is faced with many challenges and every day is dynamic due to the age of the services in the ground, many of which pre-date accurate service location records. Working in the heart of Sydney on George Street and Devonshire Street, Zinfra s scope of works includes excavation, trenching, installation of conduit, pipe and accessories, pit access, shaft/lid modifications, rehabilitation, potholing and protection of existing utility infrastructure and backfilling.
Safety The safety of our clients, contractors, employees, their families and our communities is our number one priority. That s why everyone at every level of Zinfra is committed to, and responsible for, their own safety and the safety of those around them. Our safety management, training, equipment and testing procedures are at the forefront of everything we do, and we always work to identify, manage and control risks and hazards. No business or technical objective takes priority over the health and safety of our people. Our Accreditations Zinfra is triple certified to AS/NZS ISO standards and fully accredited and approved to work on major electricity, gas, water and broadband networks throughout Australia. Our clients also benefit from our solid engineering capability and our processes, which have been recognised through our status as an Authorised Engineering Organisation (AEO), with client Transport for NSW (TfNSW).
