Exhibition Gerneral Information China-Pharm 2009 has attracted all together 356 exhibitors from 21 countries and regions, including 224 exhibitors from overseas and 132 exhibitors from Mainland China. Japanese National Pavilion It was comprised of 15 Japanese companies. Local Pavilion Beijing and Shanghai pavilion was comprised of 13 renowned companies from Beijing and Shanghai. II. Forum and Concurrent Event 1. ISPE-CCPIE China Conference 2009 Co-organized by ISPE and China Center of Pharmaceutical International Exchange (CCPIE) during CHINA-PHARM 2009, ISPE-CCPIE China Conference 2009 was successfully held in Shanghai during Oct.26-27, 2009, which was highly appreciated by the participants. During two days of this conference, 27 speakers from SFDA, FDA and the field of pharmaceutical engineering from China and overseas, distributed their keynote speeches both in conference and 6 discussion panels. More than 360 representatives participated this conference and paid visit to 7 international pharmaceutical companies in Suzhou and Shanghai, as well as CHINA-PHARM 2009. 6 Discussion Panels: Heating ventilation air-conditioning (HVAC) and Controlled Environment Good Automated Manufacturing Practice (GAMP) Cleaning verification Water for pharmaceutical use C&Q Aseptic processing 2. Excipients Risk Control and Management International Seminar 2009 Co-organized by CCPIE and IPEC China during CHINA-PHARM 2009, Excipients Risk Control and Management International Seminar 2009 was successfully held during Oct.28 to 29 in Shanghai. 13 speakers from SFDA, IPEC-Europe and IPEC-China have delivered their keynote speeches, with 80 attendees. Seminar on Reducing Unqualified Injection Products Caused by Foreign Materials Co-organized by CCPIE, Eisai Machinery Co., Ltd. and NAMICOS CORPORATION, Seminar on Reducing Unqualified Injection Products Caused by Foreign Materials was successfully held on Oct.27, 2009 in Shanghai. The duration was about half a day. 4 experts from institutes for drug control, Japanese pharmaceutical companies, and Chinese drug manufacturers talked over with 112 representatives from Chinese pharmaceutical companies on the safety issue of injection.
