Gala dinner Piano Recital performed by Filipe Manzano Tordo Filipe Manzano Tordo was born in Lisbon and started playing piano at the age of 4. He entered Instituto Gregoriano de Lisboa in 1996, studying piano with Manuela Strecht Ribeiro and Eurico Rosado. In 2001 he entered Escola de Música do Conservatório Nacional in the class of Carla Seixas and finished his studies there with Rui Pinheiro in 2004. He was admitted in Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espectáculo in Porto in 2008 with Professor Madalena Soveral where he finished his degree in 2012. He is now taking his Master s Degree in Piano Performance with Professor Constantin Sandu. He recorded his first solo album in April 2009, produced by José Fortes. He had masterclasses with different personalities such as Roberto Szidon, Imre Rohmann, Constantin Sandu, Gyöngy Kevehazi, Constantin Ionescu-Vovu, Pierre Réach, Miguel Henriques, Jorge Moyano, among others. He has played solo in various occasions and auditoriums such as Aula Magna de Lisboa in 2002, 2003 and 2005, in Auditório do Seixal in 2006 in homage to Fernando Lopes-Graça, in Auditório da Póvoa de Varzim in 2009, in Grand Liszt Auditorium in Sópron, Hungary, in 2010, in Budapest and in Clube Literário do Porto in 2011, in Lisbon in Palácio Foz and in Escola de Música de Alcalá de Henares in Spain in 2012.
