In Juneau we re off to experience the Mendenhall Glacier, passing through the sights in and around Juneau. We will then board our private boat that has been arranged just for our group, as we are exhilarated to the sights of the Alaskan whales. We re then off to Skagway where we ll enjoy a Yukon Discovery Tour taking us deep into the Yukon to travel the route the gold prospectors of the late 19 th century both endured and enjoyed. Then, for a select few, we ll board our helicopters and take to the air enjoying the amazing sights as we proceed to a glacier to land for either a dogsled or walking adventure. In Ketchikan we ll visit a Rainforest Sanctuary to view bear and raptors. In Victoria, we will enjoy the majesty of the world-renowned Butchart Gardens. Our tours are private, just for our group, so you know whom you will be traveling with. You won t get mixed into a multilingual tour wasting time with several translations. Traveling with your friends and colleagues will enhance your experience. Having been to Alaska several time, I have come to know firsthand the most important sites that all first time visitors must see, and most want to see. I know which tours are too touristy and a waste of your precious limited time. Our tours will give you a little extra time and a lot of extra comfort. I personally take the time and effort in arranging all of these tours. After all, I m traveling with you, and I want to enjoy myself too. So come and join us as we enjoy the best Alaska has to offer. At the end of our cruise, I hope that you too will tell me, Yours are the best tours we ve taken. info@drtravel.com Your Prescription for the Perfect Vacation 800 436 1028

Juneau Mendenhall Glacier & Whale Watching Tuesday July 28 (2:30 PM 8:30 PM) (Limited Space - Reserve Now) I was told that a visit to the Mendenhall Glacier is an exhilarating experience that is soon not to be forgotten, that it is not unusual to observe bears and other animals from the safely from the elevated Steep Creek trail. It s all true! As exciting as seeing wild bears, and other wildlife sightings, it is the glacier that steals the show here. Upon arriving at the Mendenhall Glacier, our park guide will point out many of the attractions that we'll want to see during our approximate 1½ -hour stay, including scenic Photo Point, and the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center. The area boasts several self-guided scenic trails that will allow you to learn about the role the glacier had in carving the landscape. We ll meander through the Tongass National Forest, as we explore

(2) Juneau is renowned for its world-class whale watching amidst the unspoiled landscape of America's last frontier. Our whale watching tour company is a familyowned business, and one of the oldest tour companies in Alaska. They have been cruising the pristine waters of the Inside Passage for over 40 years and know the best spots for whale viewing. Every tour within the last 15-years has seen see at least one whale, but expect to see a lot more. The highlight of this tour is the humpback whales. The whales are here in Alaska feeding in the nutrient rich waters. Once a whale is spotted our captain will slow down and allow the passengers out side, on the front and back viewing decks, for taking excellent pictures, and an up close experience. We will leave the cruise pier in Juneau and drive out to Auke Bay. At Auke Bay we will all board our private viewing friendly boat. Binoculars are provided for our added viewing pleasure. Our captain and naturalist will take us on a search for whales in Favorite Channel, Stephens Passage, Lynn Canal, or Saginaw Channel. Included in this search are animals such as bald eagles, seals, sea lions, and much more. This is all done in the amazing Alaskan wilderness. This is an introduction into a truly amazing experience. For those of you that have never seen a whale, it is something that you will never forget! . Skagway - Helicopter Dogsled Tour or Helicopter Glacier Walk Wednesday July 29 (Various times 2 ½ Hrs. or 2 hrs.) (Very Limited Space - Reserve Now) These tours are the ultimate Alaskan experiences. The minute you get on board one of the helicopters, you can feel the excitement. You will see some of Skagway, Alaska's most remote landscapes and have the opportunity to land on top of a glacier. You will either meet, and ride, with an authentic sled dog team in training for the world famous Iditarod, experiencing the life of the dogs and the mushers from America's greatest sled dog race, or take an escorted walk on the glacier. In 1898 the Rush was on, and tens of thousands of adventurers and fortune seekers poured into Southeast Alaska en route to the Klondike Goldfields. These prospectors used sled dog teams to haul their gear over the famous Chilkoot Trail with hopes of being the first to arrive in Dawson. Combine the experiences of the past with the present by participating in this turn of the century past time, which has evolved into Alaska's favorite sport, dog sledding! After flying over spectacular glacial sites, we ll land at either the dog camp on Denver Glacier, which is located above the historical city of Skagway, or at another site for the walk. From either site, we ll feel the vastness of this great land, and view the endless vista of peaks and glaciers as either our professional mushers or guides take us on a trip that's worth its weight in gold. From pickup to drop-off the tours are either 2½ or 2 hrs. long, and include either approximately 30 or 40 minutes of flight time, and either 1-hour at the dog sled camp, or 40 minutes walking on the glacier. Adults: $545 / $345 Children (2-11): $545 / $345 Payments by credit card must add a 3% processing fee. Pick-up: Ship Various Times Drop-off: Ship Various Times Price includes all transportation & all activities as discussed above. Tipping to hostess & guides suggested.

Ketchikan - Alaska Rainforest Sanctuary and Eagle Center Friday July 31 (8:30 AM 11:30 AM) A delightful eight-mile coastal drive takes us to the exclusive Alaska Rainforest Sanctuary, a private reserve located in the forested mountains at rustic Herring Cove. This pristine natural environment is home to bald eagles, black bear, seals, a variety of birds and other species attracted by the major salmon runs in the abundant marine estuary. In addition to wildlife viewing opportunities, this tour enables us to see and photograph live eagles up close and observe a master native totem pole carver at work. We will be greeted by our naturalist and guided along an improved trail through the heart of the dense forest, amongst tall stands of hemlock, spruce and Alaska cedar. Our guide will lead us to a protected open estuary, where we will follow Eagle Creek along an elevated wooden boardwalk overlooking grassy wetlands. During the spawning season bears and seals feed on salmon in Eagle Creek and the likelihood of viewing these fascinating animals is good. Bald eagles and other birds wait for scraps in the estuary. Sitka black tail deer, mink and marten also frequent the area. Seasonal ecosystem changes result in varying levels of wildlife activity. If you like nature, you will love this tour. At the conclusion of the half-mile trail hike we will have an opportunity to visit the Alaska Wildlife Foundation, a nonprofit organization. Take the opportunity to see raptors (predatory birds) up close as a raptor specialist explains the heritage and habitat of the different species. Observe a master native totem pole carver at work and enjoy his many works in front of the General Store. Explore the interpretive displays and enjoy complimentary refreshments while browsing in the General Store Adults: $89 Children (2-11): $59 Pick-up: Ship 8:30 AM Drop-off: Ship 11:30 AM Price includes entrance fees & activities as described above.
